The effects of CO2 are way over estimated. This likewise means that the greenhouse effect is d&*^%m near meaningless also. The forced release of the East Angela global temp data brought this out.  So, forget about CO2, it's not the culprit. More roads, fewer trees, fertilizer runoff - we know are bad, for sure. Yet these problems are still with us and should take priority in resolving before some hair-brained scheme to blame CO2 for global warming.

The issue I have with this is that the overwhelming majority of Climate Scientists do believe that global warming is happening and it is either caused or contributed by man. Scientists may disagree, but the peer-reviewed process and the majority are the ones who should sway belief. If he is right then their beliefs will eventually change as well, but don't jump on this like global warming isn't real because one professor said so.

NOT peer reviewed. Peer review is either blocked or we're told that "the science is settled, no need for peer review." Scientific method has NOT been applied to the global warming myth. The ONLY evidence of global warming are skewed computer climate projection models. You've been fed politicized science by imperial socialists with an agenda wholly separate from true science. @stooben1 Quit being stuck in the denial phase of an unfortunate future. The science is not settled, but then again it is never truly settled. We can only go with the consensus and the consensus by environmental scientists is that it is happening. You obviously do not understand the peer reviewed process or the science behind global climate change (I don't like using the term "Global Warming.") The only statistic I need is that 97% percent of scientific articles agree with this claim, 3 % don't.

Yes Lintzen is a qualified and eminent climate scientist. However he has yet to produce an alternative theory that works. His last attempt led him to having to withdraw his proposal due to errors.

Meanwhile I can give you a list of climate scientists who are every bit as qualified as Lintzen who can also provide a working theory that does fit the observable data. If Lintzen was on to something he would be winning scientific converts. He isn't.

So why do you believe him but not all the others?
