Is this a great power supply??Do you recommend it?I have 2 5850´s,I want to overclock my cpu to 4.0 and my gpu to 1ghz..And i need a psu.Do you think this psu is enough?

Don't buy it if you don't have any case space... I bought it for stability and efficiency for a server and i fit it in a small atx case. After some hours fighting with this power supply, i cannot remember how the hell i managed to fit all the spare cables.... And keep in mind that this monster has 6 dedicated video card cables while i am using the integrated video card.... maybe i will use it also to solder iron while i am checking my facebook :D

Can someone please tell me if a power supply has only 1x pci-e 6 pin but you need 2x 6 pins for a gfx card.. is tehre some kind of cable that i can connect to my power supply for a second PCi-e 6 pin ?

A corsair 550w vx would power that system, even if u over clock cpu to 4ghz and overclock the 470. if u want to do SLI, then the Corsair 750w would do the job. People always underestimate quality power supplies.

Yeah but if you're going for budget its all about Hiper. I have 2 of these and I swear by them mate. Might be made out of rocks and wood, but they sure know what they are doing! One of the cleanest supplies I have ever bought! cleaner than my 650TX!

2x 5970's or quadfire? Which one you going for? yes for 2x 5970's no for quadfire unless you use some converters. Not a recommended solution though mate. If you have enough money to be forking out for this system then i'm sure you can dig deep and buy yourself a 1000W or a 1300W PSU man, especially if you are thinking of clocking. Put it this way, 5970's in quadfire = more than both my systems. If you really wanted to save money, I would buy 4x 5870's and put the rest to your PSU.

At least a Corsair 1000w, but if You have all the money for 2x5970 then just buy a PC Power and Cooling 1200w Turbo power supply for $500

@OzZyDeviI yes it is more than enough you can go to corsair website and put details about your pc i put mine for e.g i put three gtx 580 and extreme oc to my i7 860 cpu plu 4 hard drives and it recommended three power supply TX950 HX1000 AND AX1200 AS YOU CAN SEE ITS MORE THAN ENOUGH TO RUN THREE 580 AND IT RECOMMENDED BY CORSAIR EVEN YOU WILL BE ABLE TO RUN GTX 595 OR GTX 590 THE DUAL DPU CARDS COMING IN 2011 1Q
