@Thatsamistery That's because the LDS church believes in a thing called revelation. We believe God still speaks to his children like he did in the past. It doesn't make sense that he would suddenly stop talking to his prophets like he did back in the bible. So our prophets now receive revelation for the church and that's why things change. But as far as the drinking thing goes, if you know mormons who drink, they're not following the church correctly. We're super anti-drinking.

You're all going to try to go to the temple which requires you to come up with different lies and excuses just to get married there, because everyone knows they will fall short of those requirements, so you hypocritical mormons that believe in a false religion have to lie just to get in. The LDS church claims to be the restored chruch of Jesus Christ and follow his teachings with the belief that he spoke to and granted another scripture to Joseph Smith to restore his church and they use the book given to them along side the Bible as an equal book and if you read it then you'd see it is actually a good book as is many other religious readings... And Mormon is in refrence to members not church.

@kprimmel Ya, you should really read about things before posting such ignorant things. The LDS church claims to be the restored chruch of Jesus Christ and follow his teachings with the belief that he spoke to and granted another scripture to Joseph Smith to restore his church and they use the book given to them along side the Bible as an equal book and if you read it then you'd see it is actually a good book as is many other religious readings... And Mormon is in refrence to members not church.
