  • Hello, Do you have any news of the Moylan family of Kinvara .Eugene sadly gone now but what about Roisin who sang "The little streams of Dooney"and The old Plaid Shawl also The Queen of Connemara""Eugene ,her father played the Piano accordion. I think the family ran a pub in Kinvara or that area. What a lovely voice Roisin had. Ciaran Mc Mahuna often played their songs on RTE Sunday morning radio programme. If you have any info please let me know. Bill

  • How can I e-mail Eugene Lambe? I met him this morning on his journey. I´m a woodworker and I forgot to offer him my workshop for any job relating to his boat, if he has any need of it. Thank you.

  • @xylosapiens you can contact him through eugene lambe (dot) com (details at bottom of the page)

  • I was in Kinvara two years ago. A wonderful place, with an amazing castle and close to the Cliffs of Moher (County of Clare). Listenig this beautiful melodies I have remembered that beautiful journey. Thank you for posting this video.

  • Uilleann Pipes PWN the more famous "Highland bagpipes"... These sound so refined and strong! Awesomeness!

  • Awsome flute, what kind is that? I'm intrigued, being a flaughtist myself. I love the sound you get out of the recorder as well. Very nice. :)

  • i went to ireland this summer and we went to kinvara its so beautiful

  • They are called uilleann pipes

  • Interesting man not to mention talented. What is the "official" name for the first instrument he played? I know of Scottish bagpipes, but this one is obviously different.I love the sound it makes. Thanks for posting. PS: I want that sweater!!!!

  • We lived in Scotland for awhile, and every little town has women who will knit for you. I had many sweaters (they call them "jumpers" there) knitted for my whole family, most of which we still own, and I'm now passing them down to my grandchildren. None have ever gone out of style.

  • Lovely true sounds!. Thank you. Justin.

  • Great stuff - wonderful playing and sound. UniGTR+++%
