  • @thechenz0 what's that mean?

  • car is ebayed out

  • Nice s13, more videos please! :D

  • Nissan needs a commercial like this

  • no turbo no fun

  • sr<ka<rb<jz

    i own a rb25 btw

  • dude i just got a 93 coupe, any suggestions on where to start for a drift build?

  • @MrChico929 sr20 or rb.

  • @MrStraightfaded really? but i alreaddy have more displacement with my ka then the sr. (and i dont know where the heck i could get an rb series motor lol)

  • @MrChico929 it's not about displacement lol.

  • @TheKneekap yeah the only thing i'm worried about is having turbo problems cuz idk how to tune turbo related issues

  • @MrChico929 your best bet is to get a RB20DET if you can, that way you'll have the torque of the I6, or even an SR20DET (but its completely upto you :), your decision afterall) and just up the psi on the turbo to 12-13. get a port and polish, fmic, larger intake, better sized and decent branded exhaust, also some uprated injectors but nothing O.T.T, then an ecu flash or piggyback. it'd be very reliable and still haul ass :)

  • @MrChico929 and obv the drivetrain upgrades to go with it

  • @TheKneekap sweet by far the best advice i've gotten on YouTube :P

  • @MrChico929 my pleasure, add me as friend or something so we can discuss this stuff in the future if you ever want to. plus i'm always after more contacts for car builds n stuff

  • @TheKneekap sounds good man

  • How much camber is he running?

  • Montro

  • drift drift drift. check out my vids, i have way more street coming and track ones too as soon as season starts! $teady $idewayz

  • im not being serious douchebag lol

  • @untouchable361 how are the coilovers are they good quality or you get what you par for

  • "My buddy bustin a crucial nasty drift" oh your cool

  • just happened lol

  • Nice man, I'm getting some ebay coil springs for my '92 coupe in a few weeks. I love the black roof on red, I'm considering doing that to mine now

  • can some1 please explain what EGR is on this car. thanks

  • @tompwh

    Exhaust Gas Recirculation

It sucks in exhaust gas from the exhaust manifold/header into the intake and into the engine

  • @untouchable361 is that the same a turbo??

  • @tompwh exhaust gas recirculation, it's in many engines... used to lower emissions, thats why sr20's dont pass emissions, no egr.

  • love those tailights

  • clean little drift man

  • I miss the days of having a KA in the rain.. soon i'll have an RB20 lol

  • possibly the best car choice out of 240s/silvias, the s13 with the hatch's front end

  • @FirstFamilyCharger so much fail.

  • @xXKevinEdgarXx makes sense?

  • @FirstFamilyCharger I know you probably into 240s so you made a little mistake. The front end of the car correlates to the year not necessarily the body style.

  • @xXKevinEdgarXx oye! i meant to put the word coupe after s13 lol just noticed that

  • yeah buddy lets remove are egr system and kill some gas millage while gaining no power what so ever why does no one realize the egr does nothing when your on the gas? it only opens up under light loads

  • @SuBN01z3RaT

EGR forces the engine to suck in it's own exhaust...

Would you like to eat your own shit?

If you have ever actually worked on anything, you would know that having the EGR sucks

  • @untouchable361 the egr does not operate at full throttle and exhaust can not re burn so it helps lower your combustion temps thus helping keep the motor cooler as well as lowering nox emissions plus when you inject a stable gas into the motor it takes up room for air and fuel thus using less fuel at low loads you need to try working on something once in a while

  • @SuBN01z3RaT the only emissions device that sucks any power would be your cats and air pump system with a 240 it uses a passive air injection system so it doesnt steal any power it just makes the engine bay look like shit and the cat doesnt steal enough power to remove unless you replace with a high flow cat unless you like the smell of unburnt fuel and that gets old quick and untop of that the cat helps to get rid of a little of the raspy noise anyways

  • but one last thing now that im done explaining how emissions systems work to you the egr delete is a nice mod to get done before a nice header or turbo manifold goes on being no one wants that ugly crap running to there nice new header but if thats not a plan to be done its literary just a waist of time and nice video by the way

  • @untouchable361 deleting egr means worse gas mileage and a hotter running engine...

  • @untouchable361 I agree with you here ,while in theory the egr system is a clever idea, it uses inert gas to lower combustion temps, which prevent emissions forming, and prevent pre ignition, all good stuff. However, in practice it ends up filling your intake with carbon particles, which cause engine wear, and it blocks the intake which makes your power output decrease, and your emissions increase, pretty bad! I like the eating your own shit analogy, very good:-)

  • @TrueBlueEG8 if you take care of your engine you wont get those buildups it means a little extra maintenance take your intake manifold to be boiled out every 150k miles if it gets that bad the cross over tube on my stock manifold on my truck was mostly clear after 290k miles when it was pulled off and an hour or two in the hot tank and it was back to brand new looking besides the lack of paint

  • @SuBN01z3RaT You are obviously talking about petrol engines, a lot of euro diesels have this trouble with getting stuffed up with crap, even if you use the proper low saps oil, and maintain them accordingly. They were designed in a rush so manufacturers could get older engine designs to pass newer emissions laws, rather then design new engines every 2-3 years, they basically dont care what happens once the car or truck is out of warranty.

  • @TrueBlueEG8 the s13 uses a gas motor and diesels put out alot of particulate matter so it is understandable why they build up deposits so bad one of the powerstrokes i forget what one had that problem really bad the guy failed emissions every year and he came in and told me dont bother testing him twice he is going to fail and he just needed the paper to show ford so they could yet again replace his egr valve he had replaced it every year he brought it through and said he will keep doing it

  • @SuBN01z3RaT because he gets ford to fix it for free with enough complaints and the fact he has proof it keeps going bad even though his warrenty is up although im sure its not the valves fault something else has to be wrong to keep killing valves but he said as long as they will repair it for free he wont switch to one of the aftermarket valves lol sorry bout the run on sentence one day i might just set the record for run ons :D

  • @untouchable361 haha my car doesnt have one hehehe

  • @untouchable361

Removal of the EGR system also causes it to run richer and hotter :fyi:

  • @untouchable361 hahahahaah "Would you like to eat your own shit?"

  • @untouchable361

he's actually right, it works under cruising conditions, but once you nail it, it stops feeding gasses back through the intake. So it will have zero effect on when you apply full throttle or part throttle underload.

  • @SuBN01z3RaT indeed...EGR sucks, literally. V8 for the win! Go 88!

  • @SuBN01z3RaT removing egr is good, how long do you think an engine can last while its having its own exhaust pumped back into it

  • @newtonty1 well lets see the ford powerstoke motors are seeing 700k plus miles on them with egr systems i have a buddy with an el camino with a egr system with 270k miles on it still has even compression numbers no blow anything removing egr is only good if the system is not working properly and not going to be repaired, or putting a nice set of headers on the car that have no provision for an egr hook up or an intake manifold on a chevy without an egr hookup being they pull there exhaust out

  • @SuBN01z3RaT of the cross over tube located in the stock or egr compatible manifolds you should try taking a class on how emissions systems work you would be surprised how much you can learn when you dont use youtube or the saturday night honda meet as a teacher

  • it sounds sexy

  • @dm429 that it does. curious about the exhaust set up

  • @MightyElephant

it says everything in the description dude bros

  • this vid gets you nervous for a second! looks good

  • Niiiice

  • It was cool till he fished at the end. Aight

  • my pregunta es: donde se preduce en desgaste mecanico al hacer drift, ademas de los neumaticos oviamente.

por favor responde en mi canal. gracias.

  • Look good 1+

  • @Realslow863

    Lol, thanks man

  • Poor man's diff #FTW.

  • pretty nice drift man. +1

  • What exhaust?

  • 5,000 views, lol

  • YEAAAAAAAA BUDDY !!

  • Yep I'm gonna save up for some coilovers from eBay getting some emusa coilovers :)

  • much more fun when its dry, anyone can slide in wet weather

  • sounds kinda like a ej20 from a wrx

  • @carguyzo6 Hahaha omg it does!

  • I'm getting those ebay coilovers too cuz im poor.

  • ka powa!!!

  • Wish I could do this all day! Ha! :D

  • wut kinda exhaust and headers do you have it sounds good...

  • @em2attic

    stock exhaust manifold

    eBay resonated test pipe

eBay 3" catback 4.5" tip no resonator

  • @untouchable361 How did you connect the test pipe to the stock mani?

  • @jersthecool You dont. You put it in place of the cat.

  • @LEterribleONE You do. The test pipe is bolted up to the stock manifold/downpipe with no modifications required

  • @jersthecool

the stock manifold and downpipe is just a 2 bolt flange, even though the stock is 2.5", it will bolt up to a 3' test pipe or you can use the stock cat with a performance exhaust

  • @untouchable361 Oh okay thanks! I was always wondering because on my 240 it had a stock ka24e and the people before cut off the flange on the downpipe so I never knew how people used it with a 3" exhaust because I knew it was smaller

  • Haha

  • Is this 240 on springs/struts, or coilovers?? Do you have scraping problems!?

  • @240sxGuy3

MDU Coilovers with the helper springs removed to make it slammed.

Yea, it scrapes the body rails on the ground, lol

  • That was bad ass! You got a VLSD in that?? What kind of rear end??

  • @240sxGuy3

    welded diff

  • nice

  • awesome
