My mom had the worst tuxedo cat ever! He was so mean, he HATED kids! But he was very affectionate towards my mother and us once we became older. He was a terror outside too. @PseudoSussudio I'm so sorry...but it is still fairly early yet. I'll keep him in my prayers. My little guy has been gone for over a year, so I think it's safe to say he ain't coming back. I had him for over fourteen years, so I find the idea that he "ran away" hard to believe.

But I've heard of plenty of cats coming back in a couple months, plus you have the chip. Good Luck!

Awesome cats. They look just like my old cat. I never knew how many tuxedos there were, or that they were even called tuxedo. My black and white cat, who was the most badass cat ever, went missing last year. I posted signs all over the neighborhood, posted on Craig's. I got leads on, like, ten different cats that looked like him, but none of them ever turned out to be him. There are a lot of stray tuxedos, apparently. I miss him. Wish I'd known he was called a tuxedo when I had 'em.

No, at the time I never considered taking any of the strays that turned out not to be him. One woman who'd been feeding a stray that looked like him was really pushing me to take the other...but it wasn't the same, you know? I wanted MY cat back. Like, if a kid got kidnapped, and the cops were like, "Here, take this kid instead."

Tuxedo cats rule! I have one, and he is beautifully marked with a half black and pink nose. He also a combination of black and pink pads on his paws. He is affectionately called Mr. Whitefoot (White boots).

My tuxedo cat used to love the bath. Especially when I'd just got out and cleaned and dried it all. It would still be warm and dry - he used to sit in and miaow to listen to his own acoustics. LOL!

tuxedos are by far the most laid back and humble polite cats i have ever seen... they are so lazy, yet so cute.. i had one.. someone stole my cat while i was away at college.. when i came back, sweety was gone. :( i looked all over... sweety was no where... i filed a report... it's been 4 years now... :(

lol i love tuxedo cats!! i have a nebelung and a tuxedo, altho my tuxedo cat has a very unusual pattern with the black and white. here face and head are black except her 1 cheek. she has a really cute pattern under her chin to she is mostly black but if u tunr her over her belly is white. she is also loud unlike my nebelung. i love to hear her meows altho it is annoying when u are trying to sleep. she mostly meows at night when u are asleep but if u wake up it is hard to ignore =]
