As a English pool player I would agree you have to be accurate with potting as you would not get away with touching a side cushion and still potting a ball. A good english pool player would always beat an american pool player as they have to be more accurate, pockets are much smaller

I've played with many english pool players who have changed there game over to 9 ball but i think they seam to struggle with cue power due to the balls being so much bigger and also they dont hit shots with the right speed. What i mean by that is when you see someone cheat the pocket in 9 ball, it is hit at the right speed so the pocket will accept it

Football? if you mean soccer then that sport is very overrated full of acting diving over paid poofs. Mainly supported by chavs from the ghetto who are more keen about violence than the game itself FACT. Don't get me wrong its a good game. But it is overrated. Mika was unlucky there leading 6 -1 and loses that frame to knock him out the tournament.. Also, the reason why he is so SERIOUS as you call it, is because hes got the will to win. Haven't you seen other sportsmen like Beckham for example cry when they get beaten in a big competition?

Immonen is great I have seen alot of his play and in the Mosconi Cup aka the davis cup of pool.

But I just don't have any respect for these pool players mainly cause its 9 ball and its an American pool table. What other table in the world allows you to boucne 3 inches off the rail and drop in? Its ridiculous how easy it is to pot. Its only made hard because of the position you need to get as I dfound out when I played on one, achieveing back spin is harder than normal pool.
