  • i really want to see translation 8....

  • Excellent video, dude!

  • Wow, what a beautiful, tragic, but powerful piece. So many puns and fabulous twist on words, of all languages. While it makes me sad to see Mar officially die, I'm glad he can finally move on and accept his fate in a positive way. I hope, that the seven girls can do the same thing, because although they got their revenge, does it really help them move on? I can't seem to think so. Regardless, a beautiful and inspiring piece from SH, and I definitely look forward to the next one!

  • Did you know Translation 08 is down?

  • @MikkiPhantomhive I know, I know. I'll try to upload another version.

  • @soichirokun NOOO. Not my favorite. ><

  • ok all the albums of sound horizon bfor this album do they all go together as a long story like marchen is the conclusion on whut happn n the last album kinda then it gose on its own story then marchen ends ? kinda but not fully but continues in the next album so the random pireate sceen we see a peek of from an earlyer album where marchen was alive or wut im kinda gitn it an kinda not here ???????(@@) yes i wanna know wut happen wut happening an wut happens next ?

  • @ChibiHetaliaxHRE4Evr The "random pirate scene" loops back to another story that involved Idolfried "Id" Ehrenberg, who is supposed to have died before the era of Märchen. It's implied that he might be the father of Idoko (the girl in the Frau Holle story), died and his wish for revenge gave birth to the well (Id). If he will ever appear as a proper character...who knows with Sound Horizon. XD

It's also kinda sad that this song wasn't included on the Live DVD...

  • I LOVE YOU FOR WHAT YOU DID!!!

so i know this is a dificult recuest but,

could you do the same with the live consert? XD

    that would be amaizing!!

  • It still says (Song of Dusk) in the description instead of (Song of Dawn) XD

  • Wait waiitt waitttttttttt i love the songs!

But i dont get one thing

    Is Mar no to elisabeth?

    Is Mar back to Elise?

    Or what happend to Elise?

    Please answer somebody!

  • @marouscha12 Both Mär and Elisabeth are dead. Märchen is the corpse of Mär revived by the hatred of Id (with some of Märs memories left) after Mär was thrown in a well by assasins sent after his mother Therese. Elisabeth died on the cross for going against the wishes of her brother who took over the country.

Elise was Elisabeths doll given life by Thereses curse and the power of Id (with some of Thereses feelings). She broke after Mär refused to go on with their revenge.

  • @Chounokoe Ohhh okay I get it now!

    Thank you very much!

  • Also, at the end, I feel that the baby crying stands for the birth of a new story. <3

  • I feel that this story is not over. It just feels incomplete to me. Or possibly I do not understand all that is going on.

Also, who is Idofried? >.> I am new to sound horizon, I am just trying to grasp my mind around everything.

  • @Simpathal I think in the concert, they linked the end of this song when he's throwing down the book with the beginning of "Hikari to Yami no Märchen" when the children find the book, creating an infinite loop :O

Don't worry if you can't grasp some concepts XD Even long time listeners have some difficulty understanding Sound Horizon :D

  • Thank you so much for translating this and the format with pictures, arrows and such really helped to enhanced the mood. Song 8 and this one had me crying my eyes out. Bravo!

  • CAN'T WAIT FOR THE NEXT STORY!!!

Also, I don't believe they have concluded the aftermath of Mar's mother right? I have this feeling we could be seeing more witching stories in the future.

  • I love marchen so much. Danke Heika. Danke!

I can't wait for what Heika has in store for us next.

  • Great job making these videos, but one thing confuses me. Why are the first and last songs both called "Song of Dusk"? Doesn't Gyoukou mean "Light of Dawn", so shouldn't this be the "Song of Dawn"? The Kanji used for the title are 暁光の唄, 暁光 means "Light of Dawn".

  • @YumeMelt This song is not called Song of Dusk. As you say, the title of this song is "Song of Dawn", you can see that as soon as you click play.

  • @soichirokun Oh you're right, but it still says "Song of Dusk" in the video description.

  • @soichirokun In that case, I'd advise you to fix the description.

  • so did Märchen do with elise?did he throw her in the well, break her?could you tell me?do you know?anyway, you did a fantastic job!>.< i can't wait until the dvd is released!on the 27th of july!

  • THANK YOU!! I love this, even if I don't fully understand Mär/Märchen's story. Mär fell into the well and somehow became Märchen?

  • OMFG i almost cryed D8 thank you! 8D thank you! thhhhhhhannnnnkyouuuu!!! 8D

  • Thank you so much :D I love all the songs and storys, they're telling.

But I still don't know, how Mar died :o

    Can someone tell me?

  • @ichhaltw14 He fell in a well and died before this story began. I believe he was in another story and was in a war, told not to go, went, and fell off a cliff into the well. As far as I've heard, anyway . . .

  • @ichhaltw14 gaaah please ignore my other comment, it's wrong! I just watched the "Ido e itaru Mori e itaru Ido" and it explains what really happened, so go watch that instead! (Mar fell in a well and died, tho. that was accurate.) ^^;

  • This. may be my favorite song on the whole album. <3

I do have a few questions tough.. OTL

Was he reunited with Elizabeth, and... what was he talking about with the "Mother, light is so warm"? owo

Heh, one more.. who was the baby in the end?

  • @SeleneTsuki what baby? when he said "mother, light is so warm" he was probably referring to his mother who had already been killed before him, as if he was finally giving up his quest for revenge and actually "dying", like letting it go and letting the light embrace him as he died? (remember he's already dead)

that make sense? probably not haha

  • @KestrelHime In the very, very end of this video, after the bonus track, there is a baby crying. owo

Heh, yeah, that makes sense! Thanks for explaining~

  • @SeleneTsuki really? i hadn't noticed..... i guess i'll have to check it out i had no idea xD

oh ok good you're welcome! ^^

  • @SeleneTsuki OMG YOU'RE RIGHT! man i have no idea what that is.... xD

  • THANK YOU FOR POSTING THESE VIDS!!!!!! Though I don't understand anything about the whole story, especially after reading the comments xD, because I'm guessing there are more songs to the story other than these 9?... but anyway.. These vids are BEAUTIFUL with the pictures and the characters are so loveable. I need to buy this CD or what ever it is lol. I appreciate it lots & lots for posting these! Otherwise I wouldn't have liked the story this much.

  • @kddfvk there is a prologue cd to this called ido e itaru mori e itaru ido. Maybe after you listen to it you won't be as confused ;)

  • Here Gyoukou no Uta comes!!! XD~~

  • No, sorry. Music box sounds like Shoujo Ningyou from 1st Chronicle.

  • I just noticed one thing. This melody in bonus track... isn't it Black Chronicle from 1st Chronicle? And music box from the end of bt sounds like youtube.com/watch?v=5sTv1_qdCFY

  • I'm so sorry for asking so many questions, but I don't understand who Idolfried Ehrenberg really is. Is Idolfried Ehrenberg from another story from Sound Horizon songs? Why does the well (ido) revive/fuse with Mar? From what I understand Idolfried is ido and ido is a well and he's also a person? One more thing, I don't quite understand the nun from Kakei no Majo, and what she has to do with Hansel and Gretel. Does anyone mind explaining? Thank you very much. ;><

  • @RyuukoAkira I am too new to SH to tell you about Idolfried, but I can help you clear up Kakei no Majo. The nun is the witch's daughter. Since they were poor the daughter went and joined a convent. Sadly, the Protestants burned it down. So the girl traveled back to her home. When she arrived her mother didn't even recognize her daughter. She then killed her daughter as a "sacrifice" to God for atonement. The daughter then caused hansel and grettel to be lost and find the witch, who they kill

  • @RyuukoAkira as tsimpsonmail has enlightened the Kakei no Majo's story. I could only help you about Idol. From what I know, Idolfried Ehrenberg is a seaman, and possibly Idoko's (the girl from Sei to Shi aka. 5th song) father. He was a seaman, we know from the Snow White's song, and Idoko refer his father as a seaman who fell into well and died. He never appeared in any other story.

  • @RyuukoAkira About reviving/fusing Mar, I could only guess the reason why Id (the well, the impulse, or anything it is), fused Mar with Idolfried because Mar has a fragile children body, and Idolfried body in the well, has a body of a man, a seaman, who is much stronger than Mar's body. Well, it's all I can say according to Id =/= Idolfried theory. If you believe that Id and Idolfried is the same person, the answer could be different, otherwise.

  • T_T *tears of joy*

Is there any chance at all you guys could do a translation for the Ido prologue album?

  • That is, the wonderful video makes fantastic melody more fantastic...

    That is, the Video.

  • OH MY GOD THIS IS IT.! XD

  • I LOVE YOU. SO MUCH.

  • Thanks for subbing it all =)

  • Kurobara you're my hero!I'M LOVING YA VERY MUCH!!!This and Hritsuke were so cute! (But in the picture where veryone gathers you forgot Elize! ):<)

    NEKO NO GIN.

  • @cheetahgabriella4444 No Elise? Good riddance I say. I never want to see her or hear her cackling voice again.

  • @PainRedefined YES.

  • @soichirokun Mean Kurobara ):

  • Thanks a bunch! Do you plan on doing this for the prologue too?

  • Thank you so much! :D<33

Just a question, where did you get the images that went along with these videos?

  • @GreatGoatRebellion all these appear in the Märchen booklet ^^

  • Comment removed

  • @soichirokun is that the card set? Oh men have you completed it? Cause even one I don't have any of them XD

  • @soichirokun

    Okay, thanks! :D

Oh, and I'd been meaning to ask something else. Is there a reason why the prince guy only showed up in, I think it was just two songs?

  • @GreatGoatRebellion I have a confusion there, whether the prince in SnowWhite and Sleeping Beauty songs is the same or not, if he is... I guess it was because he was kinda scared with SW's attitute at the end of the song and didn't marry her.... did he? -confused-

  • @NaiaxVoice He could be the same person, he could be not. If he is the same, he does marry her (they had wedding, no?) but apparently ran away from her then search for his "Elys". If he does not, the reason would be that their personality is kinda 'different'. Prince of SW is necrophiliac (pointed by some lines where he loves all living woman but none interest him), while the Prince in SB apparently were just picky or sort of cannibalistic? (he said itadakimasu, lol)

  • First good ending in Sound Horizon history! Yay :D

Is this really end of Dark Era and beginning of Shining Era? I hope Idolfried will be hero of next Horizon. I want to know more about him.

  • otsukaresama deshita. Thanks for all translations!

  • Thanks for all the translations~~

  • Thanks for uploading ~!

  • thank you for all your hard work.

    You are Awesome ^^
