There was a time that little kids would run up to cops and hug them and want to be a cop. The people waved to them and talked to them. Now when people see cops they pucker up and get a little nervous even if they aren't doing a thing and kids don't have any affection for them. It's good to see foot patrols now. This is a huge problem even for any race not just in urban areas. My brother and I were just in an Anti-Bully featured film called "Strings Dream" which is a film to promote anti-bullying . It is supported by The AME Church as well as The United Way. Bullying does not know race, age, or sexual orientation. i live in baltimore. my grand father grew up on the island of Milos in greece. baltimore is bad. lots of poverty and death. pepole charged with murder, and charges will be droped by prosecutors like a year latter. just too many people in jail i guess. just doesnt make sence

I too am a black man from Baltimore. I am currently in college and will be commissioning into the Air Force. The large numbers of African Americans within Baltimore, is a result of the Great Migration of blacks from the south, to the promise of "equality" in the north. When they got here, including my grandmother, they were met with resistance, and the enevitable "white flight". Once this happened, welfare programs were ended, there was no more promise, and people grew shells to learn to survive

I am a 57 year young so-called blakman who resides in Baltimore. I am a college grad and I am currently working on a Masters degree. I am a U.S. Army vet and have worked since the age of 12 years old. I was raised in a dysfuctional family and grew up in an environment where there was drugs, violence,a nd other negative influences. I did not become a criminal because of my beliefs in the Most High, Christ, and the Bible. I have a proud heritage and good self esteem. I am proud of my race.

1. What % would you estimate would be similar to you ?? Especially considering ages 57, 37, 17 ( of course I realize it is a somewhat random guess ). Just estimate the best you can.

Maybe you all should take a look at the BaltimoreSun Cirme Map. I think you should call Baltimore , "Donor City". Because at the end of the Day. A senseless death will save a life. Wake up young men of Baltimore. There is a War

zone in Baltimore that may require the Reserves to fix the problem. With a fresh supply of Black men donating there organ it may not be the intrest of the (Powers that be) to do anything.
