Everyone is commenting on the nudity in this context but not condemning it in other situations. At least this situation had a point to it. If parents are raising and teaching their children properly then they have nothing to worry about. Badu's nudity is the least of your problem when it comes to things that may corrupt children. nudity in itself isn't bad- it's quite natural and beautiful, but still I only feel comfortable naked around two people: 1) My doctor 2) long term partner. I admire my 8 year old brother who has no problem running around naked. I feel sad to think he will grow up and learn to feel shame. Walking bare naked is quite liberating.

It's a beautiful song, a beautiful video and overall a beautiful message. However i think its a rotten shame that this video was cencored, to me that stands against everything the message is trying to portray. We are supposed to see her strip herself of all layers and become free, and having pixals blocking the very things she is fearlessly exposing as a metaphor for anything society is unnecessarily frightened of really dampens the impact of the video unless of course im missing something...
