direwold can you help me? I have a problem with my either logistics pipes or my remote orderor. It tells me "Missing 1 Remote Orderor" instead of opening the GUI. I do not know what to do. Please help me.
Could you hook the end of the logistics system up to a teleport pipe, then anytime you wanted something just plop down another teleport pipe and a request pipe and click the remote thing to access your entire storage system from anywhere in the world? I've got something like that set up with wireless redstone, but it only gives me mobius fuel straight out of my factory.

@MrNoZedd I agree x1,000,000!! The transmutation grid is useful, the build/extend walls function is useful, but sometimes you really %#&$ yourself with an accidental click... even worse, 90% of those accidents are when the PhilStone is fully charged, so the walls are huge! If I could have it my way, you'd press G to cycle through "construction-extension-disabled" modes, and when in the "disabled" mode, you right click to open the crafting/transmutation grid, that's so much more natural feeling!

Ok, so you got a wireless requester so you don't have to hold the item, but the item has to be in your chest...I don't really see a use for wireless requester.
@Minionsman It's more useful if your chests are well away from the place you placed your request at. Like, say, you have one section for warehousing raw materials, one for crafting/smelting/whatever, and one for your workshop, where you put together prototypes, small numbers of specialty goods, and whatever else.
im not sure how logical the logistics pipes are, but would you be able to set up a supplier pipe to the atrium, and make sure there is always humus in it, and have an assembly line for it in your basement, or are they not that advanced?
Is there any way to have a set of engines (like the 3 he has) to transport energy on more than one frequency or is it better to just make another set of engines for it?
@direwolf20 Unless you made an unannounced change, your chests will still not draw copper cables from the chest you keep supplied, so any new circuits will create new cables at the cost of resources that you could use elsewhere. Please up vote so he sees :)
@Silverfinfinity If you watched the video where he tried to make it a supplier, you would know that it was trying to supply itself and so he took off the supplier pipe
@elemist315 Yes I am well aware, I feel that however if he played around with it a bit, he would find a way to overcome that problem. Mayhap he could use the interface of the pipe to omit itself from the extraction in that case, I however don't know. If I manage to get over my procrastination, I'll actually install all of those mods and set up a system myself; I'll reply later with my results. Thanks for your observation though.

Dire i found that if you use a redstone to obsidian generator it can be very useful for quick diamonds or other things of equal value due to obsidian = 1/8 of diamond EMC. Might make a interesting build.

Almost, but when you constantly use the same mods the general game play stays the same. When you automate everything to the max like direwolf does, where does the motivation or fun to keep building come from? Objectives? Goals? and when you complete all those do you start over and do it again? To me it seems, for lack of a better word, redundant. So where does that fire or passion come from? Just trying to get into Direwolf's commentator head. :)

use a talisman of repair so you wont have to craft new tools everytime one breaks. I still have the first diamond pick I crafted in this world and it hasn't broken thanks to the repair tailisman.

If you've got a problem with not having enough space to put loads of items in your sorters, why not just use more sorters and set the tubes accordingly?
Dire, you would probably benefit greatly from having yourself an alchemy bag, since you keep so many things on-hand at once. You could also make a repair talisman to stick inside it and never have to remake a treetap or wireless redstone remote again.

So i've been playing on this 1 world for ages, im making another automated system and my game crashes EVERY time I log on and I MCEdited in to a different chunk and its fine untill I move near my house and the chunk loads and i can no longer play in those 10 or so chunks or else it crashes... help?
@DarkMissingno well it says saving chunks and stuff without a loading bar and then it goes to a black screen, then to about half a second of that blue modloader screen then just all blackness :/
You should set the tree farm power frequency to be the same as the quarry; it shouldn't draw power when it doesn't need it, leaving the rest for the quarry.
@NightKev Tree farms run for as long as you have power to give them, and eat power pretty considerably. I have three biomass engines powering them and the fermenter that fuels all of my Buildcraft stuff, and with the arboretum and logger attached, the fermenter runs at half or less the speed at which it runs when it has all of the power from them.
@NightKev They're in constant motion. Even when it doesn't look like they're doing anything, they're constantly checking for work to do, and I guess that counts as doing work for the purposes of using up energy.
How in the world did you get 0.1.4? I didn't see it on the forum, and krapht stated that we all are "testers" because it is still alpha. I'm actually a tiny bit pissed considering.....grr
You're really not use to placing covers are you? You were probably looking at the wrong block when you placed it, which is why it ended up in the block above the tube rather than in the same block as the tube. Sometimes you have to be facing just the right way - I was recently making some banisters for my staircases (using strips) and found that I couldn't place all the strips where I wanted while on the stairs, which was a little annoying since the stairs are over a very high drop.
Also can you help me make a add on to turn RP elec into BC energy and also back.
The basic one takes 1 RS engine & 1 nikolite. Middle tier is 1 steam engine and a batbox. The highest tier is a Combustion E 2 BB's and a block of Iron. The basic one doesn't output much. The middle is middle and High tier goes just as fast as you pump it in.
Just an Idea for somebody to put on some forums since I can't find it right now.

You should put signs by your engines, to display what channels corrospond to which system. Ex: your quarry, arboretum etc.

I'm pretty sure you're pronouncing humus correctly anyway so anyone yelling at you would be wrong. Without the long "u" sound is correct.

you could use a steam engine with mobius fuel under the tree farm your wasting so much fuel on it

the wire wasnt connected because it needs to go "straight" in the retriever

@dedmenmiller Steam engines eventually overheat and blow up. Biogas engines, though, run on waste from the farm and never overheat.

If you've got a problem with not having enough space to put loads of items in your sorters, why not just use more sorters and set the tubes accordingly?

Dire, you would probably benefit greatly from having yourself an alchemy bag, since you keep so many things on-hand at once. You could also make a repair talisman to stick inside it and never have to remake a treetap or wireless redstone remote again.

So i've been playing on this 1 world for ages, im making another automated system and my game crashes EVERY time I log on and I MCEdited in to a different chunk and its fine untill I move near my house and the chunk loads and i can no longer play in those 10 or so chunks or else it crashes... help?

@DarkMissingno well it says saving chunks and stuff without a loading bar and then it goes to a black screen, then to about half a second of that blue modloader screen then just all blackness :/

You should set the tree farm power frequency to be the same as the quarry; it shouldn't draw power when it doesn't need it, leaving the rest for the quarry.

@NightKev Tree farms run for as long as you have power to give them, and eat power pretty considerably. I have three biomass engines powering them and the fermenter that fuels all of my Buildcraft stuff, and with the arboretum and logger attached, the fermenter runs at half or less the speed at which it runs when it has all of the power from them.

@NightKev They're in constant motion. Even when it doesn't look like they're doing anything, they're constantly checking for work to do, and I guess that counts as doing work for the purposes of using up energy.

You're really not use to placing covers are you? You were probably looking at the wrong block when you placed it, which is why it ended up in the block above the tube rather than in the same block as the tube. Sometimes you have to be facing just the right way - I was recently making some banisters for my staircases (using strips) and found that I couldn't place all the strips where I wanted while on the stairs, which was a little annoying since the stairs are over a very high drop.

You keep using your drill to pick up your chest, but that doesn't actually work. Chests are wooden items. You need to use an axe to pick them up.
Or a chainsaw, which I'm surprised you don't have yet.

Why don't you make a Cactus farm for the wood?
Also can you help me make a add on to turn RP elec into BC energy and also back.
The basic one takes 1 RS engine & 1 nikolite. Middle tier is 1 steam engine and a batbox. The highest tier is a Combustion E 2 BB's and a block of Iron. The basic one doesn't output much. The middle is middle and High tier goes just as fast as you pump it in.
Just an Idea for somebody to put on some forums since I can't find it right now.
