  • The music feels so feminine, its like i can feel it lowering my Testosterone. yuck! On a side note, I think i may stick to a 4850 even though I can get the 4870 for 40 bucks cheaper seeing as its going to give me savings on the electricity bill, the 4870 is power hungry folks. Not good for your electric bill.

  • $250 FOR A 4870!?!?

  • I'm getting this card to replace my nVidia9600gt. I was swayed over to ATI because their prices are cheaper and their cards are [mostly] smaller (it fits in my case lol).

I thought about the 4850, but had a great deal on a 4870 that I couldn't say no to. Card will be delivered next week and I can't wait.

  • u talk like obama

  • well President Obama is a great speaker so Ill take that as a compliment.

  • with catalyst 9.1 the 1gb version should run without glitches

  • *COUGH 9.4 COUGH*

Lol@ four month old comments :D

  • i like the music whats the name of it

  • It's just a little something I made in garage band. I use it in all my reviews!. I'm glad that you like it.

  • Nice review keep the vids coming. 5/5

  • you kinda talk in this video like 4850 and 4870 are priced the same :) ofcourse you would get twice as much performance when your buying a card that is twice as expensive (but this rule doesnt apply to nvidia's products :D)

  • "im in love with it"

    lol.

    1:00

  • i got this card xD its awsome but it has hiches when everything is maxed out (besides aa) in crysis at full res on 32inch lcd

  • lol on crysis on a 32inch with what,

1920x1000? your gunna get some hiches lol

  • so far so good :P no hiches its @ 790mhz and 1100 mhz memory no hiches :P maybe its just u

  • Why do you say that?

  • Why though the visual increase compared to the performance decrease is much better using catalyst compared to using the in-game settings.

  • Not the case the forced AA that Catalyst offers is no-where near the quality like game settings offer. But the performance decrease is hardly noticeable.

  • Well if he's running a 32" monitor at max res, we're talking 1920x1080. I believe him if he says he can't run AA maxed. My 4870 can run 2X AA with no performance decrease at all, anything higher I begin to loose performance.

  • Im running a 22" monitor at max res. 1680 x 1050. But like you said, after 2x anti-aliasing the performance starts to get hit.

  • Sweet. I'm running dual 22" Dell's @ the same res. However I'm running the 512MB version, plenty for me though. But yea, after 2X I begin to see performance decreases. I usually run 4X though, it's worth it in COD.

  • @TechieTrevor i agree my 22" samsung syncmaster 2220wm is the same res as yours and 2xaa is top

  • wow thats amazing! double the FPS! are you sure you forced on AA again?

in any case, another great review :)

  • Yeah. I used the exact settings that I stated in the video.

  • Really nice review man! 5/5 what else :)
