  • Once again I can not thank you enough for taking the time to make your video.

  • @MrBeechwood911 You are more than welcome.

  • Yes I have the soft top, but as I live in a rural area, really did not have anyone to help me get the top off. I live about 50 kilometres inland from Port Macquarie on the mid north coast of New South Wales, Australia. It is about 5 hours drive up the coast from Sydney. I don't know if I will put the soft top on, I like the look without it. You can get what they call a bikini top, that can be rolled up small & can be put on very quick if it rains, or you have had enough sun for the day.

  • That is awesome MrBeechwood911.... i knew you would figure out the position of the straps, just remember to wrap the straps up that are dangling down. I cant imagine going 2 yrs without the top off. My sons used to help me with it, but I needed my independence. Did your jeep come with the soft top too? Mine did, but I have never used it.

  • Well I got my ratchet straps & after 2 year I went topless for the first time today, if you live closer I would have to give you a hug, thank you & your boyfriend.

  • I,m sorry, I was asking about where you hook on the the roof of the Jeep, I have a 2009 4 door.

  • Would be good if I could get a closer look at where you are hooking the straps too.

  • @MrBeechwood911 Are you referring to the ceiling points or the roof top?

  • Great to see, I have just been looking at a Hoist, as I live in Australia, the price starts at $475 for a manual to $600 for a elect one. I am now heading to the hardware store to buy some good ratchet straps & give this a try. I'll tell you how I go.

  • @MrBeechwood911 Where is Australia do you live? My youngest son and I spent 3 weeks there in 09...Sydney, Melbourne and Brisbane. My eldest son is going there on a work visa for 6-12 months this May. I am so envious of him.

  • Dang, I LOVE your Jeep? What year is it? If you want to sell it, I'd be willing to buy it! ;) haha. Jk.

  • Love this THANK YOU!!!!

  • pretty awesome idea lady, Simple and very effective two thumbs up !!!!!!!

  • that was smart!

  • He propose yet? and I like the jeep

  • @AlwaysMerkin Not yet!!!!

  • You are a very sweet person with an awesome spirit! Just sayin :-) I wish you and your boyfriend the best and I hope ya'll stay together forever! Tell him he did a GREAT job and I cannot wait to rig mine up like that. You however, have an 'Unlimited'... as Napoleon would say, "Lucky!" lol Anyway, have fun my fellow Jeeper! -Jacksonville, Florida

  • What will you do if there's a rain shower suddenly? :P

  • @J0J0McM0M0 It wont get hurt...it is a jeep.

  • @stilettogrrrl May not the Jeep but everything in it will get wet, and that's not good!^^

  • @J0J0McM0M0 It is all good. I am very careful to not venture out on 'iffy days' but I did get caught in the rain once...and it was amazing!

  • @J0J0McM0M0 happend to me once :p luckily the sea are waterproof

  • @J0J0McM0M0 seats*

  • can you make a video of putting it back on?

  • @sailingman1000 Once summer arrives....I will do just that.

  • Very good design on your own, I too will use that. I like creative mods... thanks for sharing..

  • btw tell ur BF to patent it or a big corporation will steal the idea and claim they invented it.

  • that is a full work out. its like going to the gym :)

  • Great invention!

Now i just have to buy a wrangler, a garage big enough, with sturdy roof, and tools! :p lol

No seriously, it is nice, i should have invented that!

  • I think there are easier ways to do this, but props to the BF for finding a reasonable self-sufficient solution for you that will last long into the NEXT BF....

  • Pretty lady with a pretty car!!!!

  • is this type of jep like sport or rubicon a good vehicle to use as a starting vehicle? im just 15

  • @1521Cody jeep*

  • @1521Cody Why not. So much you can do with a jeep, wherever you live.

  • @stilettogrrrl welll i know that u can but my main question would be is that are they affordable for 15-16 year olds

  • @1521Cody Sorry..I do not know. Prices are all different.

  • @1521Cody First of all if you can afford this at 15 you're very fortunate. If your looking at getting a Jeep I would say a YJ or TJ. You're bound to destroy your first car and I would pick one up for a few grand lol.

  • @1521Cody get an old YJ..reliable,capable,and cheap.

  • @1521Cody Start off with a car thats cheaper, once you become a better drive, sell your car and buy a jeep. Don't go all out on your first car. Your only 15 brah

  • @Strobe562 lol only vehicles in the world i like are ford trucks and jeeps :P

  • Very cool! Just got a '12 Rubicon....I will build this! Thanks for posting!

  • That's just what I've been looking for. Thank you for the post. One question.... How hard is it to get the top back down?

  • @BobzartG Each corner wants to drop quickly so be careful to open the strap hardware slowly, keeping it ready to close. I place a rolled up towel where the hit point will be so I do not damage anything. Works great for me. good luck.

  • @stilettogrrrl Good idea about the towel. I just bought a jeep and was wondering how in the world I was going to get that top off by myself. Thanks for getting back to me.

  • Nice rig, really like the simplicity of it all. Just ordered one of these and was concerned about storing the hard top but this looks like an excellent solution! Thanks for the idea :P

  • I will never get a hardtop or a Wrangler newer than 1995

  • @MarineAgainstTerror I love the older jeeps as well. My jeep came with both tops but I only have used the hard one.

  • @stilettogrrrl How do you like it?

  • @MarineAgainstTerror How do I like the jeep or hardtop? I love the jeep (wish it was easier on gas though) and the hardtop I love because it is the 3 way top. I can take the 2 panels out and make it like an open t-roof. Great for when it may rain in a few hours and you dont want to have to take off the whole thing

  • @stilettogrrrl That's pretty cool. The new ones sure have tons of features that the older ones don't. I wanted another Wrangler but just got a Grand Cherokee a few weeks ago and love it. It has the 4.7 V8 in it so I get about 13mpg lol (I know what you mean about gas mileage) although nobody gets a Jeep for the gas mileage :)

  • JEEP looks sharp. Where did you buy the chrome door handles and the bug guard? Are they easy to install? What other extra's are on the jeep? Good video

  • @3RiversMI Everything that I have on my jeep was purchased from dealer. They are Mopar parts.

  • Great Video and awsome Jeep! I am looking into doing a similiar rig for my jeep as well. How long did it take your boyfriend to build this?

  • @RoadRashRiver It took Bob about 30 minutes to slice through the ceiling and place the T-type metal.

  • At the end she drives the jeep right underneath the hardtop! I was waiting for it to fall.I want to see her topless.

  • @luisantonioorte Believe me, that hardtop is not falling at any time. Each of those straps holds 900lbs.

  • @stilettogrrrl how bout the roof?? by the way just wanted to let you know you are very attractive and specially riding that jeep..good luck

  • Nice job!!! What color is your jeep? i'm in the process of ordering a Sahara Unlimited......and im obsessing over the color

  • @donnalynnk38 It is the 08 Sahara Unlimited. River Rock Red, I believe is what it is called. Enjoy your new ride, they are so much fun.

  • "looks good looks good" YES YOU SURE DO.....NOW ABOUT THE TOPLESS FREEDOM I HEARD AT THE END?

  • sexy milf

  • LOL...you are all suppose to be focusing on my jeep..not me. Wish I had edited shorter. Tis a bit long in time.

  • Nice body & I'm not talking about the vehicle :-)

  • thats a sexy jeep

  • niceee!! :D

  • very simple and it works. I did something similar, but used an old wide tow strap (cut into two pieces). I looped them under the top on each side from door to rear and attached them all at a central point above the top. I connected a cable through a pulley attached at the ceiling. The cable runs to one "come a long" ratchet (that I attached to a floor plate-stud). The only benefit over your system is that only one ratchet is involved, and it lifts all the way to the ceiling.

  • @conrman Do you have a video of your process?

  • nice legs lady...

  • HAHAHA! apparently everyone else was thinking the same as me.

    Milf's are sure great.

  • Very nice invention!!! I hope u enjoyed your day and plenty more with the top off!!!

  • @bgoins3000 I did and will again. Thank you.

  • I liked the Jeep, work, and I really liked you.

  • Gostei do Jeep , do trabalho, e gostei muito de voçé.

  • Bravo!!Good job!

  • awesome idea!!

  • ha,,,, bravissima !

  • Your BF rocks.

  • @jadelamorag yes he does.

  • Thanks for the suggestion hadd13. The reason that we chose the front of the jeep was because the hooks fit right into the roof bolt hole. I do not leave the roof off for more than 4 weeks (for rain reasons) so I dont think that stress will be an issue. So far it has not.

  • I think the front straps should go at the back door in the corner that will probably give you a better balanced lift and less pressure on the front part

But this is a great idea thanks for sharing

  • MILF!!

  • @magicoo007

Very hot Looking Lady. big time MILF!!

  • This is my 2nd season of using this method, no warping issues at all. I do not constantly leave it hanging for months at a time. The roof goes back on when raining out. To lower the roof I place the fronts first and them with a rolled up towel to protect the edge of vehicle I slowyl lower the back. It comes down fast at times and that is why the rolled towel is there. So that it does not damage the roof or edge of jeep. You really have to be alert and ready on the downing of the back.

  • Nice vid! You should make another video to accompany this one with you putting the top back on!

  • Excellent answer to an annoying problem!

Any concerns with warping the top at the front lip? Maybe two more straps mid-way after its raised a bit would distribute the weight more evenly.

  • Annnnnnd she's Topless!!! lol - You are so stinkin smart, cute!!! and Proud of yourself!!! Hope you're enjoying being topless!!!

  • OH MY God! Stilettogrrrl goes topless. :O

  • Great job Anne!
