No offense, but Madonna couldn't sing in tune until she was 50 (again, no disrespect). The ability to access the whistle register isn't really that incredible (anybody with relatively healthy vocal cords can do it (I'm such an example)). Vocal range is worthless if you don't have the musicianship to use it. And one's vocal range can span pretty far in chest and belt/mixed voice. Mariah Carey's done G#2 to G#5 live in her chest and mixed belts. Adam lambert- B2-A5.
