@rupertacdc Touge battle where 2 cars battle from point A to B, both cars take turns leading and following, the goal of the lead is to get as far away from the chase car at the finish line while the chase car need to stick with the lead car to the finish line as close as he can and they cannot overtake. if both cars manage to take one victory each during their run, they will go into sudden death where they return to 1rst runing position for a final battle as presumed they mastered car enough.

What kind of Type-R is that? That doesn't look like a K20A and it's auto. Usually, these cars come with a 6-speed manual and a real K20A. Did Honda just send them an FD2 chassis and Spoon is testing out the chassis?

@RedlineXD That is a K20 engine believe it or not, although not the K20A with 200 HP, and of course it's not a type R, that's why they said "A tuned FD2 sedan" if you didn't notice. It's a regular civic.

@bartybaby fd2 is the Type R chassis code. that car is a type R look at the grille. FD1 is a normal civic. so a "tuned FD2 sedan" means its a tuned Type R. if you didn't notice.

@bartybaby i know that. but didnt you notice the small type R badge on the grille? i doubt spoon would put a type r badge on there if wasnt a type r. but i dont disagree. after all, it was an automatic. sorry i didnt notice the transmission until later. and i am aware that not all 2liters are type Rs. especially since in the states the only type r we've ever had still had a B series. but yeah, i see my mistake. my bad. i guess spoon made this for people that cant afford a type r and still tune.

Notice the badge on the trunk? It's the normal ""H". Spoon just slapped the red H badge on front, it's not even an original grille, look at a video of a FD2R, it the type R grille is very very different.

In my country Honda sell FD2 that is equip with K20 Engine and it's auto transmission and it's not Type R,,,,Type R is much more different and it's called FD2R...The two is very much different in performance and not to say price but has the same body look ....The FD2 has 155hp and FD2R 200hp...

@gromaki69 It's not 140, it's155 to 160 HP and is way more than the similarly priced Corolla, Sentra, Mazda 3 here in Asia.

That is not a type R so of course it does not have a K20A, it's the regular automatic civic.

It won car of the year multiple times in different countries, I don't see the fail there.

@bartybaby i meant fail at the show for putting out the wrong info. if you look at 0:15 into the video they state the motor is a K20A, which like you said, produces at least 155HP. where the fail comes in is the video itself shows an R18 motor which only produces 140HP.

the car is not fail tho, i love it. i have an 06 R18 civic sedan myself and a 99 civic sedan as well with a K waiting for it, so i'm obviously not hating on civics lol. :)
