they are singing.... the reason the video and audio dont match is because of youtube's quality and their upload system. it messes up the quality and video/audio synch. or it may be because it was recorded poorly, nonetheless- they are actually singing, you try to lip synch with this many artitsts on stage

i wasn't talking about how the audio and video didn't match. just listen to this "live" performance and the official video. they sound exactly the same. the breaths that each singer takes, the vibrato used, and overall quality of their voices are identical to the recorded version. live performances are never that perfect sounding, even if you are a professional. plus, lip synching with that many people isn't that hard to do since they each sing such small parts.

Although the only reason China allowed them to lip synch was because of the olympics. China banned lip synch from on-site performances a few years ago.
