When I was 7-8 yo I would play for hours on my Grandma's piano, almost everyday, she only lived a few doors down. I never had a lesson, but I could hear a song and after a short time I could play it, pretty good. I loved the piano, then one day I was on my way over to practise and men were carrying the piano out of the house! She sold it! I never played again, now I am 59 yo and I am going to buy a Steinway and maybe take lessons. It's on my bucket list!

You can pick up a piano like that at most garage sales for a not bad price. We started our kid on piano a 4 years old. It's hard but well worth it in the long run.

KEEP UP THE GOOD WORK!!!! Get on her EVERY day to practice and so what if she hates you for it now. she will thank you when she is playing beautiful music some day!!! KEEP UP THE AWESOME PARENTING!!! (-:
