  • mmmmmm, looooooove this song!!!!!!!!!

  • There is a CD of her oldies...I have it!!

  • My name is bobby!!!!!!

  • Love her song, "They DOn't Know"

  • I come from a different background with different taste of music. But I came to like her when I stumbled upon a CD containing this song of hers plus Jimmy Clanton's Venus in Blue Jeans in addition to others sung in early 1960s. It gives me a feeling of 60s although I wasn't existing. Sugar is sweet to anyone any time.

  • Comedienne, actress, singer, impressionist and on and on...!! I think Tracey Ullman has to be one of the most awesome and original (and underappreciated) talents around. In my opinion, when her life story is written she will belong in the pantheon of the truly great entertainers of the century. There, I've said it and I'm glad I did. :-)

  • Tracey Ullman. Is there anything she's not brilliant at doing? Can you imagine having a conversation with her? She must know something about everything.

  • I know Tracy Ullman's talent. If this were anyone else, I'd wonder. She is so hot and so good!

  • I have her Lp called "You Broke My Heart In 17 Places", which is really good. I bought it new in 1884! I must say this is ok, but prefer the original Marcie Blane version. Marcie just has that innocence in her voice , that i like from the girl singers of the 1960's.

  • @Martywt43 You bought it new in 1884? Nigga, lemme borrow your time machine.

  • @FrancisGumb LOL, I meant 1984! you knew what I meant.

  • 10 times better than the original!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • she was a fantastic singing sensation. she should return to this pastime professionally.

  • who was this bobby anyway@

  • I love Tracey, and I love this song!

  • Hmm..identical to Susan Maughan's version..except more techno pop..

  • Tracy did soem great songs in the 1980s but this is a fairly bland track, was it ever issued as a single? sounds like a fill in track to make up the numbers on an lp or should i say cd for those to young to remember vinyl

  • I have both of Tracey's albums from the 80s. She really had the perfect voice for this type of 60's girl group material ;)

  • This version is excellent - but then it is the same arrangement as Susan's. Tracey is graciously bowing to Susan's supremacy on this one.

  • I'm a Tracey Ullman fan, but I prefer the Marcie Blane version of this song.

    Still, this was pretty good.

  • Thanks for posting. Great version, on a par with the original.

  • Just noticed - you can't edit posts here after you've posted them. (To remove typos etc)

    Hmmm

  • I thought Tracy Ullman was just a comedienne - but she's actually a very good vocalist. She does excellent versions of several songs and I agree - I wish they would bring out a CD of her songs. I'd but it!

  • She did a cd in 1983. Look on e-bay. Very good.

  • @XiOjala

The disc is called Breakaway. She did two - and Amazon et al have them

  • @XiOjala OOPS! The disc is called "You broke my heart (in 17 places)" - My Bad.

  • @XiOjala There is a CD with her songs. Just look it up.

  • I love how she remade so many oldies. They all sound so fantastic. I wish she'd put out a CD with all of these!

  • She did in 1983. Check on e-bay.

  • i like this song bc it reminds me of my dad named bobby!!!

  • I hear the original version where I work and I like this one much better. She needs to do another cd.

  • Thanks. This version rocks.
