@princessNOT yea hes like 5 ovcourse his muscles will develop and most of them will be repetative muscles for fast movements and when hes 13 or 14 i wanna see you try to beat him up hell be helluva more flexible than you and alot stronger and if your a girl it is a true fact that women are more flexible than men so dont be spitting on this kid like hes nothing
Yeah, I agree with you. I watched a documentary where a kid that looked younger than him could do all the moves almost perfectly. But this is the best video I could find demonstrating this technique.
yh yh we know you have to be flexible to do this .. but we r not talkin about that .... we r talkin about his strength .. which he doesnt have alot of.. thats why his routine is very messy and he cant execute any of his moves well
wtf mate you dont even know me so keep ur mouth shut ok i do contortion and im wayy more flexible than him .. and plus at least i have the strength to hold it
Are you actually comparing yourself physically to a 5 year old little boy... =P WOW GET A LIFE! I dout you're "way more flexable" because you cannot really get much more flexable than SUPER FLEXABLE. By the time he's 18, he will 1000X stronger than you. I challenge you to hold two buckets full of water with your arms straight out horazontally. I challenge you to do that without buckets... xD haha
Why did people down-vote maxing6565289? Just because he typed Chinese? He typed, "For those who are able to endure hardship, they become "higher" than the average ones.'
@laoZchin i think he doesnt loves doing that so much. his kung fu teacher or who ever is from the other side shouting sounds like if he will kill the boy if he has a mistake
suffering is a good thing as it makes you stronger. those who do not seek suffering in any form will never see their full potential as a person. so if you choose not to seek suffering then you choose to be useless.
that's amazing kid! this is kung fu! well, about TKD, I think martial arts has diferent styles, forms, diferent punchs, kicks, etc, but their roots are the same: Respect, humility, and training. We can't think that one better than other, but I believe that beginners think like that...
The suits we weare when we train Shaolin are black (at our assosiation) to symbolise that they are no duke robes. they are working clothes, black don't look dirty as easy as white. It is to show that we are not better than others or "blessed". I like that.
This is obviously a "physical education" form meant to help the young student develop the strength, skill, balance and flexibility needed to properly perform the 'hard stuff' in his later years. Thanks to Joe Wilson of RMax for sharing this form with us.
but sure ass hell ur training means shit to this kid.. he trained from cradle and will do until grave.. u are a egotistical bastard who will never defeat any true practicioner of martial arts..why? cuz u havent grasped major concepts of martial arts and how do i know this u ask? well if u post shitty comments like that it explains alot about u.
if you say that then forcing a child to do a competitive sport would be child abuse too, gymnastics, soccer, figure skating, basketball, tennis all require the same intense effort and train in order to excel at it.
it is not as if there are no recreational martial arts out there.
shaolin kung fu has had hundreds of years of culture and history, if it were truly child abuse it would not have been able to last through so many generations and affect the martial art culture so deeply
No pain no gain!

newsflash; without flexibility like that, mastery of Kung Fu is impossible.
Not "very difficult" or "really hard;" impossible.

@Luis1262: LOL, I want to see a TKD guy do this.
Please don't say something is easy. I would like to see a video of you even stretching that far. Thanks.
Oh, please don't show me a video of a little TKD "black belt" competition where they move slower than a parked truck.

Why would a TKD guy want to do this? So when he gets into a fight he can start walking on his hands and rolling around on the floor?

Its martial arts. But you cant see that part.
