The basics are where it all starts...fundamentals no matter how advanced you become will be your best friend...Complex doesnt always mean great...Because it takes good fundamentals to execute the most complex things...remember...simplicity is genius...Soul and feel will always speak louder than speed and technique...any asshole can play 32nd notes and bore the hell out of people...memorable phrases last a lifetime.

@ctjoao so things have to complex to be good, I guess Jimmy Page, Angus Young, Ritchie Blackmore, Toni Iommi and guys like that, it's to bad that their stuff was basic. Oh I forgot 99% of all the most popular music is basic proving that you actually have to know how ti play, compose and understand how to put the simple stuff together in order for people to enjoy it.

@therockhouse where did i ever say that it wasnt good music?? i can appreciate this even though its not complex its just that its like he is saying.. im FINALLY letting all the SECRETS OUT but its just the pentatonic all over the neck.. unless thats the seceret?? its just everyone knows that haha

I missed almost the whole clinic of this guy. Came at the ending of the show and heard him shredding it up. He sounds a lot more amazing live. I could barely stand. Although, I missed it. I got to talk to him and get an autograph and a pick from him.
