De Leon is the ugliest fighter I've seen man. Stance, how he throws his punches, everything. Throw in kicks and I'd be able to knock this guy out. Heck, don't even need kicks.
yes its true @chopinsiblos look very close how jerry fight and how he make a defense. He is the best defensive fighter and when he throws punches it is clearly a hit. most say he is the best tehnical fighter and the most intelegent fighter according or boxing experts. FYI!!!!

He doesn't defend his body too well, his arms are kind of short. I think the body shots are what were scoring for DeLeon. I think it depends on the kind of fight you like... who's more active (DeLeon) or who's landing the better shots by far (Penalosa) It's the same thing that happened with Calzaghe and Hopkins... Hopkins landed the better shots, obviously he scored a knock down, but Calzaghe kept winging whispy little shots that were all blocked on the arms - and fekkin won
i'm so proud of gerry, that eventhough he didn't win this one, but the fact that he carried himself like a true champion is overwhelming me with Filipino pride. everyone can see what a monster this de leon guy is, he intimidate you first with his monstrous look, way he talk tough and power punches but little gerry accepted all his punches to get near to him to get his punches in also, the only reason that gerry survived all 12 rounds and accepting all those punches is bec. of good shielding.
