I had to pause it when I realized what was going on with Spain and England. That episode of black lagoon had some of the most horrifying scenes I have ever witnessed and to see my beautiful Spaniard suffer the same way made me wanna cry. D:

On one hand, while I understand what everyone means about calling this vid awesome, but there's still something to consider: if "Hetalia" were this dark it wouldn't be "Hetalia" anymore. It would be...a little closer to reality. Maybe too much so. The purpose of "Hetalia" is to be lighthearted, only vaguely historical, and a cultural feel-good. You get too close to actual history and much of "Hetalia's" original purpose is as muddied as politics itself.
