@ambersaki Sorry for the late reply ... first time logging in after 4 months. We used redworms fished on the bottom with very small aberdeen hooks, like 8 or 10.
My buddy fishes for stripers a lot in the Sac River, using the same setup. I guess he likes the action. I too, over time, have a tendency to go lighter. Lots of fun.
