My dad, a 58 year old man who has seen Pele and Maradona play, told me that he has never seen a player like Totti after I showed him this video. A shame for football fans,and a perhaps a blessing for Roma fans,that Totti never moved to Real Madrid. On the pitch, he is a great player and a great captain, off of it he is a great human being. Morales, skills, loyalty...such a great man. Definitely my biggest hero and the man i look up to. Even though I can very much consider myself as one of the biggest Roma and Totti fans out there I can honestly say Totti is definitely one of the greatest players out there. Aside of his great footballing abilities he is loyal to his club, the club he was raised watching. Offers from Real Madrid, United, Milan, and many offers from big clubs never made him doubt his loyalty to Roma. I can't imagine watching Roma play without him. On the pitch, he is a great player and a great captain, off of it he is a great human being. Morales, skills, loyalty...such a great man. Definitely my biggest hero and the man i look up to. Now that he's 34 i always think, i have to see him play in the Olimpico before he retires. One thing i hope is that after he retires he becomes our coach. Even though I can very much consider myself as one of the biggest Roma and Totti fans out there I can honestly say Totti is definitely one of the greatest players out there. Aside of his great footballing abilities he is loyal to his club, the club he was raised watching. Offers from Real Madrid, United, Milan, and many offers from big clubs never made him doubt his loyalty to Roma. I can't imagine watching Roma play without him. The day seems soon but i hope he decides to become roma's coach..

I am so proud to know he's my captain.
He could have been a star in Real Madrid, but he chose Roma.. it's a special club, football-lovers, we have had so many great players who chose passion for our team instead of money, but Francesco is the best of all.
Amazing player, incredible skills.. he always sees what the others can't see on the pitch.
He chose love instead of fame, that's why I will always thank him for being our captain and for playing his wonderful skills only for us.

They have a shit tonne of money they can invest, players like Song, Wilshire, Rosicky etc are improving and they're winning games. I think they are going to start winning soon. I am not a fan of Arsenal, but now their stadium is paid for they are gonna reap the rewards.

He is a great hero to all us Roma fans. Many people are now talking about how he's extra weight on the club, but he never was nor will he ever be. Totti is a great icon not just in Rome, but in the football world too. My love for Roma and for Totti are what made me try to learn how to speak italian too.

In this science obsessed age, anything which can't be quantified tends to be ignored...however, people still recognise this elusive thing called "quality"/"beauty"/"class". I'm not saying Totti isn't class, I love him, but Totti plays within the tactical dimension of the game. he works hard to be in the right place to make the right pass. but Zidane!! Totti, Laudrup and Rivaldo are the best playmakers. Totti outshone Zidane pretty much every time they met. In the Euro 2000 final Italy only lost because Del Piero couldn't hit a barn door and had no confidence. If Totti had gone to any of the clubs like Barca, United, AC Milan or Real he would be a worldwide icon and hailed as the complete player. Zidane is outshone by many #10 type players, but gets the credit because he had a fluid first touch and played for Real. Even Nedved was better.

Give the ball to zidane anywhere on the pitch and your team will be in a better position afterwards. Zidane = Xavi + Ronaldinho + Totti. Champions league final goal? World cup final goals? ( 3 goals in WORLD CUP final matches). WC 2006 vs Brasil and Spain...he taught everyone else on that pitch what football is about.

Zidane was not as consistent at providing goals and assists as the likes of Laudrup, Totti, Rivaldo etc. Zidane was the most beautiful to watch but in France '98 had 0 goals and 0 assists before the final and in the final of Euro 2000 was played off the park by Totti. Zidane is great but playing at Juve/Real you'd have to be rubbish not to win anything. Italy only lost Euro 2000 final because Del Piero missed the chances Totti made. I think if Totti had gone toReal he'd have done more than Zizou
