  • HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA BOTH JOHN AND JALEN WERE WRONG

  • lol i laughed when i realized gravity has been defeated =)

  • who's the other team?

  • @nitotech they did not say there bets

  • lakers will three peat

  • Jordan at 32 and Kobe at 32 ? NO COMPARISON at all! Michael in 1996 was 32 and he was a monster physically (not to mention mentality). He was wayyy better than Kobe ever, the quickness and speed all was still there, he developed his muscles and strength more or less as LeBron, MJ had still amazing vertical, first step. He had the hole package.

Right now Kobe is like 38 year old Jordan, especially when it comes to speed and quickness, his knees are already bad.

  • @Jumpman1989 thats exactly when mj started slowing down in 96, that was his last titile, kobe's just getting started, already has 5 rings and many more to come

  • @laykerzfan4lyfe he's getting started ?? do you watch Kobe at all?? If you do, than you should know that this is last or next to last year for him. If he doesnt win champ. this year then he propably wont get another chance

  • @Jumpman1989 yeah i do watch him..and he's only 32 years old, he's staying for about 5 or more yearsss! mj started slowing down when he was 36 or 37, kobe's not going anywhere whether u like it or not

  • @Jumpman1989 No you watch Kobe? He has 3-5 years left in him. He's still the best closer.

  • @nitotech If I had to give the ball to take the last shot to win or lose the game I would definitely take Kobe but If it comes to last 3 or 4 minutes of the game then I think LeBron may be more valuable. Kobe still takes sometimes incredibly stupid shots, contested shots when there's no need to so yea I think he is strong mentally to take it and to make it but at the same time he tends to be very unwise during cluch situations.

  • @laykerzfan4lyfe you clearly dont see the whole picture in this situation. Kobe has been playing for 15 straight season so his body right now is like body of Jordan when he was 38 and its gonna be worse.

What is more, this is Jacksons last year as a coach so its obvious that the Lakers will not win without Phil and whole team staff taken Chicago.

Besides its almost guaranteed that we're gonna have lockout in the nba, maybe it will take couple of weeks or maybe months.

  • @Jumpman1989 some of kobes trainers have worked with mj, and they said that they havent seen anyone play great with pain, than him, he can controll himself, and the lakers can win without pj, and its not guaranteed, its a 50/50 chance. you just cant get the fact that kobe might be playing some of his best basketball right now

  • @laykerzfan4lyfe its not about controling himself, its about injuries, if you are injured you dont play its that simple, so far Kobe has had injures which allowed him to play but it may change. People who say that Kobe has at least 5 years ahead are just dumb, how can you not see that 3 years are max in his case. Its so obvious and so easy to notice, his body is exploited, he's running on fumes. Count how many injures Kobe had last year and how many he has had so far in this season-huge number

  • @Jumpman1989 this season, kobe has only hurt his ankle and no the people that say kobe has at least 5 years ahead of him arent dumb, because he is still very young and PLUS he said it himself, that he'll play ATLEAST 5 more years, if not more, so if he said it himself, you can't argue with that, you just seem like a hater that can appreciate kobe, who gives a crap when he'll retire, you should enjoy watching him now because in a couple of years, you'll regret it, thats all i gotta say, byeeeee

  • @laykerzfan4lyfe im not a hater and I do appreciate his game, but he is not young any more and of course he can play 5 years more but he wont because season after season he's gonna be slower, less dynamic, new injures will appear. His numbers are going down and the reason he wins championships is that he has great great team and the best coach

  • @Jumpman1989 oh so your saying that if kobe wasnt on the lakers, they would still win championships...yeah thats what i thought, conversation doneee, and you'll see how long kobe will play, just watch

  • @laykerzfan4lyfe and no, the LA cant and won't win without Phil. Players dont put trust in new coach so fast, it may take even seasons to get to know eachother etc etc so hiring new coach in place for Phil means no champs for Kobe.

And dont say lockout is like 50/50 because even players say its almost inevitable this year which means Kobe goes to Italy.

This is very very probable scenario, besides Kobe hasnt won anything in this season yet until then I dont give him too much credit

  • lol at the woman

  • why doesn;t anyone mention the mavs

  • Wow, that short black guy, not Jalen, is so fucking biased. He mentions MIAMI first ahead of Boston on teams who will contend against the Lakers. He should just suck Lebron's dick.

  • @Kevinsuperior13 I noticed that too. whether it is that or just that he is a media type that wants to fan the Miami hype it is a total crap. No way Miami get by the Cs.

Celtics are the best Team in the league over the last 3 seasons. KG's injury fucked them up in 2009 and Perkins' in 2010.

  • Don't know why they're saying he's going to lose something. He's only 32. Jordan played solid ball until he was 36. Disregard Jordan's Wizards years. If Kobe imitates Jordan which he has been, his turn around jumper is still the best in the league.

  • kobe bryant is so inspirational man.

  • Phil only wins in 3's. Enough said.

  • people are fired up for this NBA Season obviously just by looking at these comments, I know I can't wait, great round table discussion!

  • MJ=KOBE KOBE=MJ

  • look at all these long comments lol

  • LA Lakers got the west thats clear its really a dawg fight Miami,Boston and maybe even Orlando the west teams or either old lack big men or defense so like Jalen said only team is the Thunder but they young Kobe does not have to work as hard but he does have to close games out

  • these dummies keep questioning his ability? News flash: he won on 1 leg last year..hes had a whole offseason of rest which he hasnt has in probably in 4 years..foolish so called experts..keep doubting ass wipes and he'll keep winning..Jalen i like you but stop doubting scrub..

  • Hahahahah again for another year Kobe is questioned about age athleticism health and games performance? For the lakers doesn't need him to be the best palyer on the court to win?Keep it going! He wants you to;)

  • people still think that kobe is old....at 31 he can still do the things he always did,,,gane 7 was just one game.....kobe is still the best player in the nba...they are making it sound like it was jordan playing for the wizards...

  • I want the Cavs to at least make the playoffs so that way they'll have a chance to meet the Miami Heat. But I never watch the preseason. The preseason is strictly to get players ready for the season. Even to see how well old and new players mesh together. So I never take it seriously. I thought Kobe wasn't gonna play the preseason. Can't that guy just rest for once? Dude is ready to work!

  • did jalen just say 'bidness'?? 3:08

  • kobe only slowed down because of damn injuries

and he will slow down this yr because he didnt get a surgery for his finger and he is not taking a lot of rest.

Just let his team do the damn work till the all start break

idk what is not clear about that to Kobe

That 4months can lengthen his career and his chance to win championships

he could have easily got MVP last yr if he didnt get injured

MVP level does not diminish in 1yr.

ONly problem is Kobe is not taking rest

  • @rlacjfdn first of all..kobe could not have won mvp last year...cuz too many people are on lebron's nuts....and had kobe gotten surgery the lakers don't win the championship

  • why are the lakers a lock? lol i mean, i know im being a homer, but the only team in the west that took them 7 games is in full strength again (rockets). The west is not a lock for the lakers, i mean they can win it, but its not gonna be so easy where the lakers can just mark their calenders for the finals

  • I know this is off topic, But this show needs to be year round. All NBA season, they make really valid points. And i can site and watch the whole thing... Love the analysts they have on it aswell

  • lakers three peat this year.

  • @tmacc

No, not this year. Miami & San Antonio.

Miami wins. This is the begining of the end for the lakers.

  • @The7legacy maybe boston & spurs

  • @tmacc Yup the gonna 3-peat SIKE niggas down 0-3

  • @tmacc wow, best prediction ever man!!

  • @tmacc LMAO really?

  • @tmacc SWEPT

  • Why did that bitch mention MJ....

    MJ is the man

I respect kobe though its cool...... he has rings

  • The Suns are going to win it all Hedo is going to be better then Amare ever was.

  • @tatertots00

    AHAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHAHAHHAH. Too funny.

  • the preseason for the NBA is to show how better a team has gotten. apparently the cavs must of gotten better since they are number 1 in the preseason. so dont put the cavs down jus cause lebron isnt there no more

  • @datpoint im not doing that. im saying that the preseason doesn't matter at all when talking about nba teams. No one plays their starters the whole way through, Most contending teams rest their stars and at the end of the day it doesn't mean a damn thing if you lead preseason. why? bc when teams actually TRY in the reg season instead of putting out their 8th-13th men out to finish a game in the preseason you will see the real result. cavs will not make the playoffs trust that.

  • @MrJeckel and cavs had a team they jus needed a good leader. yes im saying lebron isnt a good leader. lebron wasnt the only legit. lebron had alot of players who can put up points. lebron jus did everything when he didnt need to. like i said i hope cavs get to playoffs to shut yall up. jus cause one person leave dnt mean the team will suck.

  • @datpoint When that one player is LeBron James, it does mean that your team is going to suck. Just look at their roster. Who will take over games? Who will make the correct pass when it's necessary? Who will guard the other team's best player? Jamario Moon???

  • @kingofrnb Lebron's defense is largely overrated, but i agree with you offensively. Cavs can still be good. But if they get 8th spot in playoffs i will be shocked. But if they will play against Heat.... hmmmm, i can really smell what the Rock is cookin...

  • @kingofrnb -_- so if it was kobe/wade/melo/bron/bosh/k-mart/larry bird/MJ/bill russell/yao ming/gerald wallace/ and who ever else. and lebron leaves the team then the team will suck? plz make a valid arguement.

  • @datpoint That didn't make any sense. What does Kobe, Wade, Melo, Bosh, K-Mart, Larry Bird, MJ, Bill Russell, Yao Ming, or Gerald Wallace have to do with this? The Cavs next best player is Antoine Jamison who isn't even an All-Star at this point in his career. Their best player is gone. The player who, without him, they would have won possibly only 30 games. They built the team around him. When your centerpiece leaves, you don't just keep it moving like nothing happened.

  • @kingofrnb ur not getting it. lemme piggyback on wat u said.

"When that one player is LeBron James, it does mean that your team is going to suck" so the team could have them FANTASTIC players. and if lebron leaves then the team suck. thats wat ur implying.

  • @datpoint No, you're not getting it. On the Cavs team, when the player you lose is your best player by far and a 2 time MVP, and the team was built around him, yes, you are going to suck. If one cannot see that, they simply do not know basketball and they do not know what kind of team the Cavs truly have.

  • @kingofrnb and lemme compare chess with an NBA team for u as well. u said when ur centerpiece leaves u dnt jus keep moving. well if u played chess and u so happen to lose the QUEEN which is arguably the best piece in game. well when the queen is lost, wat do u do? you keep playing as if nuthin happen. jus cause the queen can be noted the best piece. compare it to lebron. jus cause he left dnt mean da cavs cant win. so if u lose da queen dnt mean u cant win. jus have to come up wit a strategy.

  • @datpoint There's no need to compare anything. Facts are facts so let's deal with the facts and not what ifs. Look at the Cavs roster without LeBron James. The Cavs can't win more than 30 games. Period. You can come up with all the strategies if you want, but someone has to be able to carry them out. Their playmaker is gone. They have a scoring point guard. Who's going to make things happen?

  • @kingofrnb no those are facts. thats ur opinion on wat u think. like i said lebron leaving da cavs dnt mean anything. and mo and boobie can easily learn how to playmake. im pretty sure they been workin on that over da summer. no ur team isnt going to suck. like i said compare it to chess. ok make your strategy built AROUND the queen. and u lose ur queen. ok jus switch it up. that dnt mean ur gonna lose. it means u just have to come up with another strategy plain an simple.

  • @datpoint LeBron leaving doesn't mean anything? Which is why Dan Gilbert wrote that vicious letter? And why fans were burning his jersey and crying? Point guards are born. You can't teach point guard skills like vision, etc.

  • @kingofrnb no point guards arent jus born. u have to learn the game. they jus learned the skills of a SCORING point guard. u can EASILY jus learn how to playmake as u can EASILY jus learn about scoring. im pretty sure mo and boobie have good court vision. but sense they practiced more on SCORING then its not really seen on da court. and uhm u must not kno why they burnt his jersey? he promised he was gonna give cleveland a championship. TWICE actually. and what did he do? jus quit on them

  • @datpoint Point guards are born. What player do you know who learned how to have great court vision? You don't just learn how to run a team when you get to the NBA. Playmaking and scoring are two different things. You can't learn how to be a playmaker. You sound like your feelings are hurt since LeBron left. He didn't quit. He moved to a better team.

  • @kingofrnb why would my feelings hurt? i live in detroit not cleveland lol. and yes u can learn how to be a playmaker and become a scorer at the same time. im pretty sure its possible if D.Will can be a playmaker and score at the same time. no point guards arent jus born. they have to learn what to do. yes he did quit. think about it. he made TWO promises that he will get a championship ONE without shaq and one WITH shaq. he even declined to resign with cleveland.

  • he went to miami because he gave up on cleveland. im pretty sure if i had an ENTIRE team on my back and i was the leader i would stay with the team until i fufill that promise. not just give on em like the team was worthless. the team must of had contributed because ONE MAN cant get 60 or more wins by himself. not even MJ he always had a team to back him up. but instead he jus quit on them like they was weak

  • @datpoint He went to Miami because his teammates forgot how to play once the postseason started season after season and he was playing by himself.

  • @kingofrnb so u sayin he got to da playoffs by himself? he got to da championship by himself? he won 60 or more games by himself?

  • @datpoint Without him, they would have been a 30 win team at the most. There's a huge talent gap between him and the second best player. Did he do it by himself? No. But those guys were made better by him. He made Mo Williams into an All-Star.

  • @kingofrnb since they started playing? how do u kno that? do u live wit them? for all we kno that could of been ass at basketball until wat 9th grade year. they could of been horrible players we dnt kno that. and uhm u said that he did it by himself in another comment. u said he was playing by himself. if thats the case then he should of been the only one on the court. yall think lebron is so damn perfect. he is jus like any other NBA player with pros and cons. jus like kobe. even MJ.

  • @datpoint LeBron has pros and cons, but to say that the Cavs will be alright without him is a dumb statement. LeBron was playing by himself in the playoffs, he had to score at least 30 to 40 points for them to have a chance to win. He had to eliminate the Pistons by himself so that he could get to the Finals in 07.

  • @kingofrnb dude it takes a team effort to get to the finals. it isnt just a 1 man show. ON ANY team its always a team effort to even get to the playoffs. if he did do everything by himself then thats why he lost because he didnt trust his team. u givin lebron to much credit. he didnt do EVERYTHING by himself. he had help. jus like kobe had help. jus like how jordan had help. how wade had help. and many others. u dnt get to the playoffs or da finals alone.

  • @datpoint You're right, you don't get there alone. You need a good team...and he didn't have one which is why he's now on a better one.

  • @kingofrnb APPARENTLY he had a good team if they made it to the ECF to the playoffs have 60 or more wins in two seasons straight AND been in da finals before. he had a good one. stop blamin stuff on the team EXCEPT for lebron. ur acting like lebron had NO mistakes at all

  • @datpoint He made some mistakes. Like quitting in Game 5. But if I had to carry my team every season once the playoffs started and I found out that there was a possibility that one of my teammates slept with my mom and everyone knew and decided not to tell me, I may not feel like playing one night either. He had a good regular season team that couldn't step up when the playoffs began. Now he has a team that can play in the postseason with him.

  • @kingofrnb uhm u do realize that the d.west and gloria james incident wasnt true? it was already stated not real. it was jus a rumor that got started up. lebron didnt kno. and uhm one night? he gave up in BOTH games. jus chuckin up random ass shots. he choked in game 5 and 6. and if u promised ur HOMESTATE team. which is cleveland. and lebron raised in akron. and guranteed a championship and jus quit means that u dnt trust ur team. for all we kno cleveland could of won this year. but he quit

  • @datpoint Of course those who are involved are going to say it's not true lol. He played well in Game 6. You're just not very knowledgeable with basketball matters.

  • @kingofrnb no ppl at sportscenter even said that it isnt true. it was jus a rumor. and even the news articles said it wasnt true. im pretty sure they arent involve wit it. and yea a triple double wit a bunch of turnovers. them turnovers from EVERYONE including LEBRON messed up in da game. yes lebron choked as well. jus like how he choked in 09 with 15 points and 9 turnovers

  • @datpoint D-Will, like Chris Paul, is a rare breed in that he has the ability to see the floor and score. He didn't learn how to score or how to see the floor once he got in the league, he was doing that in high school and college. You have to grow up playing the point, you can't just learn it. That's a fact.

  • @kingofrnb its not a fact its jus ur opinion. u can learn to be a playmaker and scorer. CLEARLY wat d-will an cp3 did. u think they was just born like that? no. NO one is born with talent. u have to be able to work hard and help urself get that. like d-will and cp3. im pretty damn sure he didnt be born with fantastic basketball skills.

  • @datpoint D-Will and CP3 have been the kind of point guards that they are since they started playing. Some people are just leaders, that's who they are. You are what you are. Mo Williams is a shoot first point guard. So is Gibson. That's all there is to it. LeBron James had the ball in his hands a lot for a reason, he was their only playmaker.

  • @datpoint yeah but if you remove 2 pawns and put in place 2 more queens how much more dominant is your strategy gonna be over a team with no queens.

  • @kinglanky93 yea sure ur more dominant but that dont mean ull win. u jus have a better chance. i beat someone in chess who had 2 queens in a tournament before. i had lost my queen. yea sure u chances get slimmer but dnt mean that u WONT win.

  • pau gasol superstar? i think not. Legit all star? YES. yet the lakers use him like a role player... i don't get it.

  • @MrJeckel he is a superstar, he is on Tim Duncan's level, i believe. But i admire his willingness to do whatever team wants him to. takin just 11 shots and still gettin 18 10 a night? And Lamar, of course. I love LA

  • It's the preseason..the Cavs aren't making the playoffs. Heat, Celtics, Magic, Bulls, Bucks, Hawks, Bobcats, Pacers, Sixers and the Knicks are all better than the Cavs.

  • @kingofrnb cavs are 4-1 in pre season sixers suck they are 1-4, Knicks are 2-4, Bobcats are 1-4 indiana are 2-3 bulls are 2-4 milwaukee are 3-3 so don't dismiss the cavs just now cause they got something to prove

  • @JoEjOhSoN2fAn Once again, it's the preseason which is different than the regular season when teams will be playing with their regular rotations and stars won't be getting nights off. The Cavs will not make the playoffs regardless of if they have something to prove or not.

  • @kingofrnb 8th seed trust me !! they still got good ballers

  • @JoEjOhSoN2fAn Not good enough to get a playoff spot. There's a reason why Mo Williams contemplated quitting basketball after LeBron left. Deep down, he knows this team can't win more than 30-35 games. They are basically in the same place they were in before they drafted LeBron.

  • dats why i luv jalen rose. he speak da truth

  • half them lebron fans said cleveland aint gonna do nuthin. WELL cavs is 6-0 at this moment HA HA. i dnt even live in cleaveland and i still believe cavs can get to the playoffs

  • @datpoint cavs 6-0? preseason? #1:Preseason doesn't count for anything the damn raptors beat the suns by 20+ points TWICE in the preseason yet no one would say that the raps>suns. cavs aint making playoffs this yr esp with mo will and jamison... realise that a team of jamison/caron couldn't even make the playoffs what makes u think the cavs would?

  • @MrJeckel dude this is my opinion. not anyone elses. jus cause they lost lebron dnt mean a damn thing. and almost every game the cavs played they was blowing out the teams they played. 1 player dnt make the team. so ill say this again. i hope cavs do make da playoffs to shut all da lebron dicksuckers up

  • @datpoint How does losing the 2 time MVP that was literally your only LEGIT star not mean a damn thing? Realise that the cavs were shit for a decade plus till lebron got there and they will be shit a decade plus post lebron since yall are in the EXACT SAME POSITION as you were in w/o lebron... a couple bloated contracts, a bunch of unproven young players and no true double team threats at all. how am i a lebron dicksucker? is it not rational to believe that a team w/o their 2 time mvp will suck?

  • @MrJeckel did i say ur a lebron dicksucker? so your saying lebron got both them 60+ wins on his own? no he didnt it was a TEAM effort. when they got to the finals it was a TEAM effort. even when they go the ECF it was a TEAM effort. getting to the playoffs is a TEAM effort. it dnt matter what kind of team u got. lebron aint trust his team thats why he left. dnt say he was averaging triple double with assists is trust. its not about stats. its not about MVP trophies.

  • We know Chris Broussard is picking the heat...

    lebron fan boy

  • OF COURSE. 3 Heat can't stop the 3 Peat

  • The Spurs are not older they just got younger Jalen! James Anderson, DeJuan Blair, George Hill, Gary Neal, Tiago Splitter, Bobby Simmons & Garrett Temple. How can you call them old? sure Tim Duncan is up in age as well as Manu but even with that said the Spurs are capable of beating the elite teams in this leauge. Last year they beat the Lakers at Staples Center, they also beat the young OKC Thunder. Remember that one block Manu had on KD? Old! are you kidding me?

  • @bball2night The spurs key players are older. thats what he means. duncan their main cog is older and is declining. manu can never stay healthy and isnt getting any younger. and TP is rumored to be leaving next yr who knows what his motive will be this yr. if tim and manu are not up to par which they won't be the spurs dont have a chance.

  • thanks for posting/sharing i think the lakers will take it too.

  • very intriguing conversation.

  • Jalen.. were u been bro?
