  • Brilliant! loved it and slightly emotional as its me all over,...thank you for this video ;)

  • I haven't been diagnosed, but I believe that I have dyslexia along with my parents. All of us have issues with reading, writing, and spelling. My mom has a particular issue with numbers. My dad can't spell. I have trouble more with reading comprehension. I am an excellent reader, but I probably could not tell you much of what I read. I've learned to cope without realizing it. It's not great, but it's not that bad either. :)

  • i made a analogy of the "weeds of society" how people are frowned upon in society (like homelessness racism homophobia etc.)as the "glorious lawn" in the front yard is infected by dandelions. the dandelion can be used as a medical herb which would be so helpful like i was really into botany and ecology, as i learnt more i saw that we could use ecology as a guideline to better social setting. My example is the dandelions have the right to grow just like the grass on a lawn. Weeds are beautiful :)

  • Dyslexia IS NOT a gift! I HATE it when people tell me that! It's a form of torture!!! It has made life so difficult. My self-image and my confidence in EVERYTHING has been negatively affected by this terrible disorder. I feel like my soul is trapped.

  • @Misanthrope625 You might enjoy "The Strange Truth About Dyslexia," which suggests a possible way out. (Many experts think that dyslexia is actually caused by flawed reading instruction.)

  • @Misanthrope625 I'm sorry you feel that way. I've felt that way most of my life, although I have been extremely proactive to solve my problems. I'm not saying all problems go away, though if you try hard, accept who you are, love yourself, find the positives then focus and use that to your advance, I'm certain you can succeed. Acceptance lessened my symptoms and took some negative emotions out of the way. I know I've missed out on many things in my life. But life is funny like that.

  • i am dislexeis i havve onlyjust leant how to spell most words

  • I go to a school called Marburn Academy school for ADD and Dyslexia in Ohio, I can say nothing less than,

    It saved me!

If you ask any kid including me, they can tell you horror stories about all the suffering in Public School. teachers pulling you into the hallway, or spending the class staring at the text book, to exhausted to care anymore.

I went home every day, and cried in my moms arms about how hard it was. then we found Marburn and never looked back. I started in 6th and am now a freshmen

  • @EthalaRide So glad you found that school. When I was a kid, they thought dyslexia was mild retardation. Talk about humiliating!

  • @Ziffelzoovop It is depicting the state of dyslexia and is meant for wider audience, not only dyslexics.

  • I feel so blessed to have a daughter with Dyslexia Everyday Anna amazes me with her talent and her way of seeing, but I have struggled so much with the fact that she is so smart but could not learn to read by the end of 3rd grade. All that changed when I discovered Dyslexia Games!
