Well Cessationism might definitely be the 'safest' approach to take, in that you may never get decieved, there are definitely plenty of false teachers and prophets out there in the world, but if God is still working in New Testament ways, then wouldn't it be good to use spiritual discernment to weed out the false signs and wonders to the true? Jesus says false prophets will appear, but he doesn't say every prophet after him will be false.. Interesting topic, God bless!
In support of Rev. Angus I have to mention that there is a huge textual variant in Mark 16, which fortunately doesn't help the charismatic dude. In other words Mark 16:9-20 is not the original ending of the Gospel of Mark.

@DigitalCodex I wonder why Angus would even go toe to toe with Mark 16 since that portion of scripture is not found in the most earliest and reliable manuscripts. And it is not even the style of Mark? He should have brought that to light. That would have squashed that argument right away.
