I am glad that for David Tennant you put 2005-2010 because in some other places when his Doctor gets mentioned they only put 2005-2009 (OK his final stories were filmed in 2009) but The End of Time part 2 was broadcast on January 1st 2010, so he did make it into 2010. It really annoys me when people put 2009 for his departure year!

This video is a great celebration of all The Doctor's incarnations and I keep watching over and over. And with the debate over which Doctor was the best I have to say I like them all to be honest as each Doctor have their good and bad bits but on the whole they are Fantastic. I grew up with Sylvester McCoy's doctor so he will have a special place in my hearts but they are all great in their own way.

I must say, the Second Doctor is my favorite. Reason being, he had some of the greatest moments, he wasn't a fighter, but he was a problem solver. If there was danger, he often found a way to solve it with his mind. I think that's what I love most about him. Which showed you didn't have to be a tough person to be the Doctor, you just have to know how to save people.

Idk, I think you should go by the doctor on the stages of his life. 1 was a cranky know it all, 4 he was settling into himself, 6 with them colors, rebellious, 9 and 10 were grieving and coming back to their quirky selves, call it a midlife crisis, and 11 is just...well, idk yet. Gotta wait at least until 13. So by favorite doctor, you mean your favorite part of his life to relive and watch. I know, I'm going too into this :)

I love all the Doctors I have watched so far. I started with 9,10,11 and then started going back In Time with 7,8, 1, 3, 4, 2, 5 and 6. I haven't been able to watch all the episodes yet because I became Whovian last Fall. I still love all the Doctors and one of my favorite classic Doctor Who episode is The Five Doctors, which I just watched. Long live Doctor and Tardis!

I like all incarnations of The Doctor. I grew up with the Sylvester McCoy incarnation but all of them have their good and bad bits but overall has The Brig said "Wonderful Chap... All Of HIM"

I do not have a favorite doctor. I do not think it is fair to discriminate. But if I did have a favorite, it would be Christopher Eccleston, the 9th doctor. He was so tough and badass, and chose his companians well. I really wish he stayed longer!

On a serious note, my first Doctor was Christopher Eccleston. And I grew up on David Tennant. But when Matt Smith arrived I thought he inhabited the role perfectly, I loved that the Doctor became more eccentric and funny, as well as having very subtle acting techniques that kind of make you wonder why you ever liked Tennant in the first place.

@Cryer24597 Tom Baker is a great Doctor, probably the most iconic Doctor, I would say Patrick Troughton and Matt Smith establish a vulnerable side to the Doctor, and a more eccentric type. Matt Smith and Patrick Troughton have the greater performances to Tom Baker, whereas Baker has just the great voice and presence.

Tom Baker annoyed fans a lot of fans when he first performed back in the days. I don't think any other actor could manage to tick all those boxes that he does. He gets annoying fan girls who think he's hot, and Doctor Who obsessives who think he's Doctor-ish, mad and eccentric, he gets children to fall in love with him and critics to lavishly praise him.Great great DrWho!

My only criticism is that this video is a little too formulaic. The clips run in order from 1 to 11 over and over, it made it a bit repetitive. Other than that, it was still very good.

The best thing about the show after it was resurrected was the Time War story, making him a lonely and ONLY Time Lord gives the character even more depth and lets us get more emotionally involved in the character himself. Long live Doctor Who P.S. I hope Matt stays for a few years, maybe even more because I'm loving him as the Doctor. And no Tennant lovers can tell me otherwise

@ironsidemeeper yeah people saying they want him back, it's not gonna happen, and they need to get over it. If any of the Doctors incarnations should come back (which they never will) it would've been someone like Christopher Eccleston as he only did 13 episodes or Paul McGann after only doing a movie. My point being; the show is about change and if people's love for Tennant stops them from liking the show after his leaving, then they're not giving the show a fair chance, and Matt is great

The 1995 movie was an attempt to try and revive the series via a backdoor pilot, but due to the fact that one of the producers was FOX networks, and the film didn't do so good in the US (it did pretty well in Britain), it was not picked up. In 2005, the series was finally revived by the BBC.

I love this. I've watched it several times, and I think it's a beautiful and moving tribute to the many faces of The Doctor. So many memories!! I actually wept a little the first time I watched it. I love that the scene of Tom standing inside his TARDIS is the final image of The Doctor shown in this clip - I adore Tom, so I really appreciated that. It was a lovely note to end on.
