The atheists who revert back to some simulacre of religion need some intimacy or they feel the loneliness of being right. But I found a great help in the modern science who is in fact more amazing than any religion...plus true! What else can I hope.

Anyway I agree on the Drugs issue. It has be left alone for it to fall in place by its own in society. In India Drugs have existed for thousands of years, but it never penerated the larger population and make everyone as addicts..

It took its own place amongst spiritual seekers called Babas who smoke weed or other stuff.. its sort of a hallucinogen.. They just stick to their own community.. So the cops are only making it worse now by giving importance to it.

Actually it does take courage to get rid of the religion when religion has been taught to you every dau as a child. It's very difficult to get outrside your upbringing. I did it at 17, after attempting a suicide. It took me great effort to eliminate all the perverted belief-system from my being. It took me energy to deprogram myself. But then I felt free, very free. Sometimes this freedom is condamning me to loneliness.
