  • CHEEEEEEEEEEEEHUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUU!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • CHAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO

  • why doesn't the UH warriors do this version anymore? It was pretty good.

  • i like this better than the haka

  • BIG UPS to UH for creating the Ha'a!!!

  • GO UH WARRIOR!!!!!!!

    ---UH Warrior fan from Hilo,HI

  • THATS SO SICK!!!!!!

  • i LOVE the Ha'a. i think hawaii should start doing the Ha'a again. for the uniformed it IS a HAWAIIAN WARRIOR CHANT! not to be confused with the maori haka's this is hawaii's own HA'A! although haka's promote unity and stuff like that for "battle" purposes. no POLYNESIANS should get offended wen others do the haka. although its not personally THEIR OWN our culture is spread out amoungst all of polynesia. i am hawaiian myself and i dnt get offended when others dance hula IF DONE RIGHT!

  • @thatan1 well said hawaiian

  • @lanimu808 thanks hawaiian. its facts! being on da mainland if i see groups not doing hula right i tell um. they get offended thinking i tlking shit. but i tell them they are representing MY polynesian culture and if they are goin to do so. they MUST do it right or else its taken as offense to us polynesians. and they fix they face and do it right lol but mahalo plenty for your thought

  • @thatan1 Yes!!! The all important "IF DONE RIGHT!" That's the important thing!!! But, they also must understand what they are chanting and learn why the Maori open their eyes wide and stick their tongue's out. Learn all about Polynesian Culture.

  • CHEEEEEHOOOOO

  • Shoot brah number 77 no ka oi!!!

  • best pregame ritual

  • I am Hawaiian & I would like to teach this Ha'a to my football team.

Can someone send me the words please?

  • My family members are fluent in Hawaiian and if you give me some basic history of yourself, team, and where u from we could help with your own personal ha'a.

  • awsome Ha'a, if only these guys could play rugby

  • Go warriors!!!!!!!!!

  • warriors are my favorite team

  • Tumeke!

  • The Ha'a represents Hawaiian culture better than the Haka which is Maori. But I like them both. Polynesian culture is cool!

  • that war chant didn't work against Georgia. lol. Gotta respect UH though!

  • Does anyone know all the words? Translations?

  • I know the words for da haka, but the ha'a was written and choreographed by the UH football team and the only way to get the translation/words is to be on the team. That junk is cherry tho yeah?

  • I'm an american as well and I think it is awesome. It's really fun to watch but it is also interesting. I think its great Hawaii has something and I honestly feel that other football teams wish they had something that is original like the Ha'a. I like the new dance better than the old one.

  • i'm glad they decided to change it to the Ha'a. they really represent well.

  • E'o na toa, eo na toa, e! GO WARRIORS!

  • I am an American, and i think this is awsome, I find it very interresting and that it is great for them to have something like this in the culture. I think it completely idiotic that other races are wanting them to stop this, and that they are finding the Haka offencive. thats BS

  • hey wat u said is really kool yeah im samoan but the haka is from the maorian culture and wat the Warriors are doin is the Ha'a its basically the hawaiian version of the haka just to let u know but i got respect for u

  • This is cool. One thing though, since when have hawaiians had a so called "HA'A"? Is this something that hawaiians have adopted from the maori's? The gestures of the movements are strong and forceful, so much so that one could call it a "HAKA". I would seriously like to know the translation of this "HA'A" and if this is really something hawaiians got from the maori culture?

  • it's called the HAWAIIAN war dance for a reason... and yes it's called the Ha'a i really don't know why the are calling it the haka... it guess for all the haoles

  • I think it was a haole translation. They probably heard Ha'a and tried to spell it by sound alone.

  • The Haka is a very similar dance, for lack of a better term, used by other teams such as the New Zealand All Blacks. At first, I think, even the Hawaiian players/coaches referred to the Ha'a as a Haka, though I may be misremembering.

  • yeah they basically did adopt the way the maorians did their war dance but the words are in their own language well wats left of it anyways (no disrespect)

  • Oh yeah, I'm really glad they did changed it, not taking anything away from the Haka, that war chant is awesome as well, but this is Hawaii not New Zealand, we should keep it Hawaiian, so I love that they did this, thanks for sharing...Ho girl, Kalilimoku is fuckin' sexy, haha!! I love me one big Hawaiian man, head my way big boi, Westside Searider Pride, Hawaiian all da way LOL!!

    ALa

  • This version is way better ,nothing like the kapa o pango. This Ha'a was definately Hawaiian. Big props!

see what happens when u keep it HAWAIIAN?

so far so perfect. EO NA KOA HAWAI'I

  • HA is the Breath of Life.

  • I like the ha'a - not that there was anything wrong with the haka. Anyway, go bows! Aah, see now I knew you'd get mad - I meant go Warriors!
