WOW! I remember back when the game came out Nintendo Power had a contest for a gold-colored controller for best time on this track. I think the best I ever got was around 1'30'' or so. I sent my time in. The next issue came out with the winner's time under a minute. Been this long I finally got the answer!

there no way this video is PAL version...i have the PAL version, and this is way faster than mine, im not just talking about the racer being fast, but when the lights go red-orange-then to green, its way faster than the PAL version, can someone confirm whether this is supposed to be PAL or whatever they use in america (NTSC??)

NTSC is American and Japanese TV thingies (30 FPS, Fast, worse graphics).

PAL is European and Australian TV thingies (25 FPS, Slow, better graphics).

You also have SECAM, that's French.

SECAM is the same as PAL.
