@QuanZiHD The problem with the PS3 is how its memory is split between cpu/gpu. 256mb on a GPU is extremely outdated. Even 512mb graphics card in a PC is not enough, a lot of PC games now really need at least 1gb.

He also forgot to mention PC games have free updates than a console games which you have to pay to update your game. It is not necessary to upgrade your PC every time a new game comes out. Do you guys buy a new console every time Halo or Uncharted comes out? No. You only upgrade if you always want to play at the highest settings for best graphics.
PC may be capable(when upgraded) of having better graphics/fps than consoles but theres a minus side to that to, you have to keep upgrading in order to play the latest game and not to mention all the problems there are while gaming on a PC. Not bashing, but this is why I personaly choose to play most games on console. They're both great in the end anyways, play for the game.
@pricture You dont have to upgrade for every single game. thats just silly. get the best now and play the latest games on high settings. if a game later on have to "good" graphics for your computer. so the framerate is 30 and lower. then just set some settings at low and then your good to go. btw. If you got a normal job you will be able to get the latest hardware every 4-5 month :) have a nice day!

I used to be a consolebaby too, until this generation. I got sick of chasing consoles that die within 5 years, and almost quit gaming altogether. Then I got into PC gaming and never looked back.

The only arguments against consoles right now, is how limited they are, and how PC's can have bigger and better looking games.
Console players say they don't care about graphics, but they do. If they didn't, they wouldn't argue about which console has better graphics (neither wins, they're both equally limited).

@econtadini PC's simply have far superior graphics because they also have far superior hardware. (for example my video card costs around 600$, my processor around 500$) console hardware is just kiddy mode compared to that.

It is not necessary to upgrade your PC every time a new game comes out. Do you guys buy a new console every time Halo or Uncharted comes out? No. You only upgrade if you always want to play at the highest settings for best graphics.

PC may be capable(when upgraded) of having better graphics/fps than consoles but theres a minus side to that to, you have to keep upgrading in order to play the latest game and not to mention all the problems there are while gaming on a PC. Not bashing, but this is why I personaly choose to play most games on console. They're both great in the end anyways, play for the game.

@pricture You dont have to upgrade for every single game. thats just silly. get the best now and play the latest games on high settings. if a game later on have to "good" graphics for your computer. so the framerate is 30 and lower. then just set some settings at low and then your good to go. btw. If you got a normal job you will be able to get the latest hardware every 4-5 month :) have a nice day!

It's nothing wrong with his computer. And he can run games in highest settings. But sometimes something jus tstart lag in the game he playing on. But it does not happening so much. Maybe 2 of 100 or how I should explain. And he have full connection... It lag on consoles like that too. But not so much as on pc sometimes...

I used to be a consolebaby too, until this generation. I got sick of chasing consoles that die within 5 years, and almost quit gaming altogether. Then I got into PC gaming and never looked back.

@TheMisterG92 Umm, it's not difficult to install a game. It's actually very easy to install games on Steam, there's no hassle at all. Unless your IQ is the same as your shoe size.
The only arguments against consoles right now, is how limited they are, and how PC's can have bigger and better looking games.
Console players say they don't care about graphics, but they do. If they didn't, they wouldn't argue about which console has better graphics (neither wins, they're both equally limited).

i prefer simplicity paired with power. and a console offers this combination much better than a pc. it just depends what your needs are. if you dont need easy handling then you're sure better with pc.

I was very lucky to be introduced to PC's when I was 9 years old, and I learned em fast. My brother would bring me old computers that didn't work, and I'd get em working. :)
I'm very happy to be a PC gamer, and Steam makes gaming much more convenient and easy. Easier to use than PSN.
