  • i believe this man helped expose the flaw in the republican party. i have to admit the republicans did pretty damn godd on their own.

  • which God is he referring to?

  • Ya thank GOD!

  • Now the President of the United States, the most powerful man on earth.

  • on February 10, 2007 exactly 2 years ago today obama launched his presidential campaign. wow that was so long ago. i wish those days could come back. but im glad obama is our president now.

  • Ya thank God! ahhahahaha

  • It is so hard to believe though, that Obama has made it the rough journey from when he announced his running for the President of the United States 18 months before election day to the current time. He had to win the primaries and he did against someone who had a big name and then it was the general election where he won against one of the biggest senators in congress: John McCain. I am so happy he won and I fee he will be bring prosperity back to this country.

  • Finally America can take a breath of Fresh air.

  • what song plays at the beginning??

  • city of blinding lights by U2

  • Obama for president!

He is good man, and USA NEed fresh and young president for free new changes=)

  • WHERE WERE YOU ON FEBRUARY 10TH 2007?!

  • You'd obviously be a great candidate for his cabinet... maybe you can help define some solid beliefs about flag pins.

  • Wow, if you have to resort to talking about flag pins, I nkow you're desperate. You can see it in McCain in the debates.

  • okay he wasnt even born in africa, he is american. he may have a kenyan father but he also has an american mother. And why does that even matter? Obama will bring change and will restore the reputation of america. I respect McCain and what he has done. but I believe Obama will bring a better future.

  • Barack Obama will win the presidency similar to how George W Bush did. But when Obama does, it will not be disingenuous or stolen. Barack Obama is consistent in his positions and unlike Bush's consistencies, Obama is right. He's right when it comes to Iraq, health care, education, lobby reform, Afghanistan and Pakistan. A change is coming and it's name is Obama!!!

  • SIMIO

  • i like both hilary and obama but im not too sure about hilary...Obama knows what hes talking about...he knows what he wants and he seems real dedicated to getting to where he needs to be...im voting Obama 08'

  • Obama 2008 - he'll be our president

  • Wonderful

    Obama 08!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • A great moment. This guy can win this thing.

  • yo mamas a man. lol

  • Brilliant speaker.....

  • remember americans for whoever u vote use your head this time ....stop watching biaised tv start reading and get your IQ up because the image u got in the world is a country of empty headed , patriotic, racist, proud , gun loving, fat, burger eating, narrow- minded, religious in the showing- individuals who got absolutely nuffin to be proud about

  • wow whiteboy your so right!!im sure your feel real proud and big saying shit like...im sure you have brain so maybe try and put it on display next time rather than your bullshit kkk view which im sure make you feel real good!! i feel sorry for u man

  • Wow, what a terrible thing to say. And I am sure you bring shame to Ron Paul by saying that.

  • Wow do yourself a favor and kill yourself. People like you is the reason why America is so fucked up as it is today and why me and more than half of the world hates America. Your just overgrown useless trash that the world is better without...

  • Alotta people looking for attention on youtube...

  • This is historic. A presidents duty is not to come up with specific solutions to each and every problem of the nation, but to provide the hope and faith in a new era, which makes his administration and the people of his country to work towards that goal. To aim high. That is what Bush has failed to do. That is what Obama, despite little experience in Washington, will be able to do. Barack Obama is a Leader with caital L.

  • Ron Paul has ZERO chance at a Republican nomination. We all know that. Barack Obama is a bigger threat to the GOP than many currently believe. He's the most believable candidate to represent this country as its president.

Mitt Romney is the only Republican that has the charisma to stop the Obama Express.

  • Paul is running for the Republican Party nomination. That's why I say Obama vs. Paul

  • Barack comes when are at one of our most desperate times in our nations history. God bless you Barack(aka "Mr. President") and what a blessing you are to our nation. God bless you and your family in 2008.

  • he definitely makes great speeches i give him that. it will be a nice change after being forced to listen to bush.

  • yeah he makes nice speeches. He seems to know just what to say. He rarely if ever goes against the feeling in the room so to speak. All these things are what worries me about him. What happens if he does this with world leaders? Who does he call on when the easy answers just don't work. America needs so much more than that right now. It needs experience and a realistic approach to problems. That means challenging people, not just telling them what they want to hear.

  • i dont disagree with you in that respect, i was just referring to the way he talks as opposed to the nquler garbage. he also isnt a robot like clinton. i would much rather have some combination of Gravel, Kucinich, & Paul in charge but the base of their parties dont want to give them the time of day. hopefully they will come together for a good unity 08 ticket.

  • lol.....why's that?

  • Great video. Barack is honest, thoughtful, and genuine. Qualities that I want in a President.

Want to know what's REALLY funny? Someone made a pro-Hillary video response to this, and in it, they use another U2 song. The problem is the video had no emotion or substance to it. These two videos are a perfect allegory about the differences between these two. One genuine, and one struggling to play catchup.

  • It looks like Obama vs. Paul in 08

  • Im pretty sure the logical and intelligent people of our nation have figured out that Ron Paul is a joke. The polls seem to show it as well. Thank God.

  • Why is Paul a joke?

  • His views on policies are sad. He's alot like Mit Romney, he just tells the people what they want to hear, but has little facts to back up his statements and when he does, and gets questioned about them by other candidates he's very slow and weak to respond.

  • Give some specifics...

  • When he spoke out on fuel efficency standards he didn't do it in front of the sierra club or some environmental group he went to Detroit in front of the automakers.

When Barack spoke out about greed and growing income inequality in the United States he did it on Wall Street.

Barack doesn't tell people what the want to hear he tells them what they need to hear.

  • someone needed to say it....

  • "Look I recognize that there is a certain Audacity to this announcement. I know that I haven't spent a lot of time learning the ways of Washington, but I've been there long enough to know that the ways of Washington must change."

  • OBAMA IS THE BEST...

  • The best at what?

Seriously, what do you see in this guy but empty platitudes?

  • I remember this day like it was yesterday and I haven't stopped being inspired since.

  • Well that solves the glacier melting problem. If we have all that excess water then why not use if for energy independence...I was kinda trying to be funny with that but hmmm..Seems doable.

  • it makes the problem even worse. we're facing a serious drinking water shortage because of warming and over population and this will put that problem in hyper speed.

  • News Flash-

The ice is melting into the Oceans.

Now try using that on crops.

  • 12,000 gallons or 6? I only did one online search, but the discrepancy is extreme.

  • when you combine all of the different steps together it gets around 12,000.

  • You're just all over the place with that shit, aren't you?

  • yea I'm doing the job the media should be doing with their billion dollar budget except Im doing it for free cuz unlike the MSM I actually give a shit

  • A bigger issue with enthanol is the human costs.

Do your research about what this ethanol BS has done to the price of corn in Mexico.

Hemp is the alternative to ethanol

  • I thought the majority of Obama's voters weren't farmers. Is there 30,000+ Democratic farmers in Iowa who voted for him. Is there? Of course not, he won Iowa because of his well roundness of political views that reached the teachers, parents, laborers, businessmen, farmers, and many others.

  • this is caucus voting. where the lobbyists try to convince us that they know whats best for the nation. this is not a real election stat. Its merely the corporate world getting their usual head start and statements in on how they want America to vote so they can get more rich. Iowa is the WORST of all lobbying districts. thats why AARP is there. You're a bold face liar.

  • Exactly!

  • People voted for him because they are too lazy to pay close attention to what he is saying.

  • i think i'm the first viewer of this video. bad ass.
