  • I get good enough photos with my compact olympus 8000 (tough model). They could be better, and sometimes it takes a while to make sure i get a good focused shot.. but.. at least I don't have to lug around a massive camera and all those little tools ... here are some of the fungi I shot with various cheapo compacts and my olympus - when I'm in forest I dont want to be carrying a beast like that- type in this after the .com watch?v=iM0BB9J_0IA

  • @300582228 Except for one thing...... Tamron is not a no name brand. Any camera pro and even camera enthusiast will say that Tamron has some really nice lenses in their product lines. Not only that, the quality and price of Tamron's lenses rivals those of first party manufacturers in terms of cost benefits.

Also, Sony does make nice DSLRs. Read up on the industry reviews, will ya?

  • @300582228 that's a tamron lens. just because nikon and canon are top-cameras, doesn't mean sony, olympus, leica, etc are crap. just because there is lamborghini doesn't mean toyota cars are crap. i have seen perfect shots with crappy cameras and crappier lenses so stop nagging about the brand.

  • Tamron lens, strike one. Sony SLR, strike two. Shooting mushrooms, strike three!
