  • @missysworld1 I was actually a little intimidated. He was throwing rocks that day and pretty much watched him more than my own practice rolls.

  • @burgergraber Hoskins was such a great bowler and really deserved to still be on the tour; unfortunately, the exempt rule the PBA put into effect made it extremely difficult for a number of great bowlers to even bowl in PBA events unless they made it through qualifying squads. A lot of these bowlers decided it was not worth the trouble.

  • Every since Hoskins looked at Walter Ray on the first vid with that sort of intimidation stare Walter hasnt been right since.

  • Hahaha Poor Walter Ray at 3:40.

  • wes malott wasn't on tour then dumbass

  • i bowled against steve a few times in the past and actually talked face to face even though im 17 he isnt coming back to pba

  • 3 300 games bowled against Walter Ray Williams Jr. on TV and yet he still has the most titles out of anybody lol and tied 2nd for most 300 games on the tour behind Parker Bohn III!

  • RIP Marcel's Olympic Bowl.

  • Marcel sold Olympic to AMF in late 1998, and there weren't any PBA stops there after that. AMF ran the place into the ground, and closed it last month. I was there earlier this year..it wasn't really an enjoyable place to bowl anymore.

  • AMF owns most of the centers in my area and a majority of them suck as well.

  • i know that Steve Hoskins is in a league at a bowling alley called Lane Glo South, about 10 minutes from my house. He holds records for high game and high series there.

  • Odessaboy, you are absolutely correct. I bowled right next to him at Lane Glo in New Port Richey this evening and the guy is pure money. Very intimidating in his bowling style. I had to stop what I was doing and watched him bowl with his family. Seems like a pretty nice guy.

  • hey, what nights/times of the week does Steve bowl at Lane Glo?

  • @tysen813 You should have come over to say hello!

  • I'd also like to see Norm Duke's 300!

  • He hugged him already and he was trying to hug other people so he didn't see Walter's hand!

  • nah man he was on a high, he didnt even notice. He hugged him and was movin on to the next guy

  • he shook his hand after hugging other ppl if you can see it

  • He tapped hands after the strike in the ninth when the match was won. It is right at the end of part one into part two. I know Steve he is a good guy.

  • Would anyone also happen to have Norm Duke's 300? I haven't seen that one yet.

  • Whatever happened to Hoskins?

  • He didn't make it to the exempt for 2004 or something.

  • yeah, but he could have shoken it, walter is a great bowler too

  • This is one of the most exciting matches I've ever seen. It just seems like so few years later there is so much less excitement in televised tournaments.

  • Co-signed. The PBA was awesome back in the 90's IMO (although a lot of older people believe the downfall actually started then and hasn't been good since the 80's...either way, it is clearly in deep shit these days...and was much more exciting back then).

  • I miss Steve Hoskins. He rocked

  • what a dick! He wouldn't even shake the guys hand! if it was me i would pop him in the sack!

  • i dont think he saw walters hand... doesn't really matter though, he hugged him :P

    good game :D

  • @thegibbonator But he pointed up to the so called God. Good game God. Not too many PBA bowlers do the God crap.

  • @TheAmpad He did not point up to god. He pointed up to two family members that died on that day two years prior. He felt they were his good luck charm that day.

  • @thegibbonator Yeah, he didn't see it. It's always thrilling to shoot 300's on TV in league or practice. It just feels good! MMMmmMMmmMMMMM!!!

  • dude! a hug is worth more than a hand shake!

  • Great clip.. Thank you for posting. Do you or someone you know have the Steve Jaros 300 game you might be posting?

  • I don't, and don't know anybody who might...sorry!

  • @dunner228 I think Jaros is known more for his 126 he shot on TV than his 300 lol

  • Thanks again Dunner....I have some more on the way...just have to get the time
