START PRACTISING!!! ^^ Your fingers won't start playing by themself! Start by learning easier songs like Nirvana: Smells like teen spirit or Bro Hymn. I would also suggest to start learning how to play legato instead of trying to learn alternate picking and the technic is also very important, you can find all of these lessons on youtube ;) Good luck!

not really, I was able to play this song after 1year of playing (ofcourse it wasn't perfect back then) but I would suggest you to try to learn it and try to not give up.

well not only I was learning the theory (scales and stuff), but mostly the technics.... for me it's something that comes in the first place because I really figured out technics for alternate picking, sweeppicking, positions of the left hand and also pinch hormonics. And you always must find ways of improving things by digging deeper in your technic (that's what I've learned in tennis :p)

I'll happily take your advice! I know most of the theory (partly because I also do grade 8 piano), and I think ive just about cracked the techniques for alternate picking and double tapping. However, I find sweeppicking and pinch harmonics very hard so i'll get to work :D.

I guesse you do musical school wich notes and stuff? Fortunately a guitarplayer doesn't have to know any notes (ofcourse it's a bonus if you can read notes) but all what a guitarist has to know in theory is Pentatonic scales, natural scales and how to make scales :D

About the technics, I'd suggest you to take a look at Takayoshi Ohmura, because he has the best technic I've ever seen....

I think it will be a couple of months before i'm ready to film TTFAF (because of school exams and stuff) but as soon as i'm finished i'll let you know. It won't be as good as your version for sure but its a start :D

I'll work as much as i can on techniques and get TTFAF up as soon as possible, but don't set your hopes up too high for it. i'm still very much in the process of memorising the main solo at the moment, and if i do too much full speed practice on the other bits I have to sleep for the rest of the day :D

The reason you dont have many views on your lastes songs is because it ain't very good songs. If the songs arn't good, why bother watching a cover of it? I subscribed because of the Rhapsody, and Sex Machineguns covers etc. I don't like Gilbert, Clapton and Vai etc, it's to guitar nerdy for someone who doesn't play the guitar. It's good music to listen to but not interesting to see covered. I want Metal, and so does most people of your subscribers.

You misunderstood me. I want to see Metal covered. Take Gilbert for example, never heard a song by him. How interesting is it to hear a cover by him? I want to be able to rate the performance, and see what the artist have to bring new to the song. I can't know that if the songs covered are things I'm not familiar with. I like all kinds of music, I love 80's synth for example. It just happens to be that 95% of the music I like is Metal. If he covered a Roxette-song I would be glad to watch it.

take this oppurtunity to discover some new musicians and find the original songs.

I'm pretty sure 90% of the subscribers in a channel like this don't know how to take a single cord on a guitar. That's what I'm trying to tell you, it's too nerdy guitar music. It's like me sitting and watching Haake only videos sitting and playing drums by himself. I love it, most people think it's noise. The Roxette example was just used to prove that it's not about Metal or not, obviously. I have watched the covers and "discovered" them, I'm very open minded. I didn't like it.

Well, don't discribe it as "not good songs" because they're all great musicians who wrote those songs and I wouldn't be able to write such masterpieces. And I love Metal very much, but just sticking with one genre isn't interresing anymore so I always looking for something new and to play Metal is easy as hell... But I'll think I'll follow your advise and get back to that genre :)
