@Umbra360 No, discs have region codes.Say there's an exclusive game in America, which I think American games are Region 3 or something, You couldn't play that on a region 2 xbox or ps3. I think Europe is region 2 and America is region 3 and area around Australia is Region 1, and this type of system applies with DVD's aswell, if the DVD is not pirated or such things like that. If u try to put a region 2 disc in a region 3 console, it would say something like "unrecognised region code or format".
