Wanted to let you know that oats, tahini & peanut/almond/cashew butter are all great sources of protein. So you can eat away knowing you are getting your quota of protein. Happy Baking!!!
Thanks for the inspiration. Now that I saw how simple it is, I am gonna have to make some protein bars, too (never did before) but with almonds butter (I am not a peanut butter type of guy). Then I have to find somebody to videotape some of my cooking preparations (it won't be my mom though, coz she lives on the other side of the Atlantic)
Thanks for the lesson

Hi Sara, I wanted you to know I've baked your famous protien bars for my family and they absolutely love them. What a healthy treat! Protein, good fat, natural sugars and all organic. This is a protein/energy bar all in one. Sometimes I add chopped almonds, raisons, pumpkin seeds, etc. Justin and I love unsweetened shredded coconut in them as it makes them very crunchy. Thanks again for sharing this healthy, organic treat with us. Love ya. xo
Hey sara, wow, this video has changed my life...Bye the way, why don't you put some protein powder into the mix, cause now it kind of lacks protein, and its more fat and sugar, but still, I bet it is very tasty.

it would really help if you gave measurements...
BettyBoopBoots 2 years ago
@BettyBoopBoots OMG I you are the first person to mention there are no measurements. Here they are:
Protein Bars
4 cups oats (not cooked or quick)
¼ tsp cinnamon
¾ cup peanut butter
½ cup tahini
½ cup honey
Mix all ingredients in large bowl until well blended.
Shape the dough into elongated rectangles (about 4 x 2 x 2)
Bake at 375 for 20 minutes.
