i got a 2.2 cl an i, pretty sure id take the tegy cause ive beaten a couple of them before. . . . i think what you got there is a bad driver..!!! an they did seam really slow was tha camera man using slow motion special effects lol. . .
lol Im not really into the 2.2s I have a 99 3.0 cl an ive beat numerous stock integras even the gsr an mines is auto 2.2 have less hp mines has 200hp :p
@Al3xTrucho20 lol im not really into the 3.0s i have a 2003 3.2 CL Type S and ive beaten numerous 3.0 cl's no problem the 3.0 has 200 and mine has 290 at the crank ( but stock its 260) but i eat and teggy type r as well.
@Laidbackandforth23 Yea i wish i had a cl-s it be awsome but my cl makes about 220 now i want to look into supercharging it i hv a cuztom reinforced tranny so it can handle more power which i wany to take advantage of
@Laidbackandforth23 I cant boost it it has an auto tranny its just been rebuilt stronger seeing as moslty all the 97-99 acura cls had really bad tranny problems and to make it worse they nver made a manual j30 tranny
lol wat evs for one i had a 2005 Chevy cobalt (automatic) against a 2003 eclipse (manual) and i smoke him with a spare on as well lol so the automatic has nothing to do with it, plain and simple the 1990 is faster, i have a 1990 acura integra now and its a manual and i raced a 1998 honda civic which was a manual aswell and didnt rev high or even go into 5th befo i was 5 carr lengths ahead
@Cr33py no crap a 98 civic has a 1.6 and your integra has a 1.8. pretty basic really. idiot. of course an integra will beat a civic. integra has a 130 hp B18 and the civic has a B16 with 105 hp.
@Cr33py oooook your previous comment said "98 civic that was a manual also" so when there wasn't any mention of a shit load of aftermarket parts on the civic I took that to mean it was stock. usually somebody making a claim like that would mention that the civic was modded because if both are stock its obvious the integra would win. guess you forgot. what aftermarket parts did it have? btw just because a car has aftermarket parts doesn't make it faster.. not trying to offend just sayin..

I hate it when people put exhaust systems on autos. It sounds so horrible. Also, that CL should have kicked ass. I have one and it flies. Those were pretty sad cars.
actually the cl is a cunt hair slower than a good driver in a integra I sold my 92 four door integra to my buddy after buying cl and we raced I was upset to loose to my old car =( it was about a half a fender and I starting catching him on the top end
