  • what song is on 0.35?

  • @BogdanCojocaru87 hear n' aid - stars

  • @michikuTV thanks man:D have a nice day

  • God bless Ronnie and Kevin, they will never be replaced.

  • 1:22 funny dio is funny

  • as dokken was in freddy 's night mare !

  • loud like a thunder!!!

  • DIO the LEGEND

  • halford have more stronger voice than bruce dickingson! he is the god !

  • With the last part, when all singers are singing. Geoff Tate and Rob Halford can be heard better than everyone else.

  • I can't understand why everybody's lovin' Tate's part, in this song his voice is terrible (even if he has done great things). You can't compare his voice here with Dio's one or Halford's one... Anyway, a fucking good song, it's sad to see that nowadays, songs like this one have disappeared.. (And I ain't talking about nowadays singers...)

  • @briantheblade44 you can't understand why everyone's lovin Tate's part,well,and i can't understand why u mad bro,you're deaf maybe?

  • @sobeto28 No no I ain't deaf^^ But his voice does not suit for this song I think , it is better in QR. His tone is not Dio's one. But, Dio couln't sing QR's stuff. keep on rockin'

  • @briantheblade44 Oh,yeah, his voice definitively doesn't fit the song, but hey, there are some horrible, and when i say horrible i really mean HORRIBLE singers in this song,so all coll.

  • @sobeto28 Who is horrible for you? Because I didn't hear so horrible singers^^, just special voices (or very special for Paul Shortino for my opinion)

  • @briantheblade44 The guy from quiet riot,the miniketti,shortino.

Oh and i may have used the wrong word, horrible isn't the word exactly, mediocre is.

  • RAEP

  • Halford RAPE Bruce Dickinson.

  • If you think Halford is good ...

have you heard Bruce Dickinson ??? :D

  • Halford - kicks arse

    Tate - Great Great Great

    GIllis - Animal

  • why da fyck do you think dio did that?Raise money for ok...ok...but the main thing was,to see who would be the guy to pass the torch, and geoff tate got the title

*excluding halford, because he was already a star since the 70´s

  • even DIO was like.,.. damn,,, god damn... at GEOFF!

  • Halford is a Metal God.

  • Dio was the best, the others were really good but Dio is Dio you know, can't beat that

  • George friggin rules!!!!!

  • @sjamsucks you must be deff or have a bed taste

  • WHY THE FUCK DICKINSON WASNT ON IT,???YOU CANT DO THIS KIND OF PROJECKT WITHOUT DICKINSON,!?'??

  • @hmcccp Maiden was in the middle of a tour... adrian and the other guy flew in specially for this

  • @hmcccp Because Dickinson is a fail vocalist compared to all of these guys....

  • @Sjamsucks Dickinson isn't the best, but he is great.

  • @hmcccp

He didn't care about it most likely.

  • Tate is the best EVER!!!

  • Dio sounds bbbbbad

  • DAVE MURRAY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • @MaidenCzech I always wanted to hear what they did on this

  • Ha @5:07 DIO: "it's great, Great, GREAT" haha heck yeah. Mr.Tate is the man!

  • never seen so many eddie v h impressions!!

  • 1 mané!!!

  • mestres insuperaveis do heavy metal........

  • and they picked a shit section of the maiden team solo ... fucking....

    Vince being all mr niceguy..

  • i always liked geoffs part best in this song

  • Up the IRONS!!!

  • Geoff Tate is the BEST, Don Dokken should have stayed home.

  • Geoff Tate es mi opinion uno de los mejores vocalistas de heavy metal. El mejor de todos sin duda es/fue RJD que descanse en paz.

  • That fucken little video kicks ass... Thanx for posting. I have seen every band on here at least twice. Brings back memories.

  • 6:40 - Geez! Lynch with his belly shirt. It embarrassed me THEN and it embarrasses me NOW. All those guys from DOE-Ken are such numbnuts, including Donathan.

  • 2:45 - Halford in his low-cut teddy - KILLS ME!

  • Good thing they all brought their Aquanet.

  • Malmsteen gives me a dampness beyond worlds! Outstanding! hes number1 alright!

  • Geoff Tate was the best here ...... No doubt.

  • @Cobrahehe i disagree, hes a good singer but i just never liked his voice.

  • @rickyjshiznit Like him or not , he was the best here. :)

That is a fact , he sung this awesomely and with most finesse .

  • They only forgot one of the great vocalists of the time. . .Where's Bruce Dickenson?

  • @CerebralEulogy i agree

  • Damn.. Geoff Tate

  • TATE!!!!

  • Yea, but the children get all the money?

  • I like Dave Meniketti and Rob Halford best. Dio is awesome as well :)

  • yesterday I went to a show of Halford, and I guarantee that at age 59 still sings very well

  • @MonkBR the Voice is the Voice. need we say more?

  • Have you heard Bruce Dickinson ??? :D

  • Can somebody please tell me where this is from?! This is incredible!

  • Geoff has nice teeth there :)

  • exelente

4:10 se nota el respeto que le tienen a Dio, el fue el cerebro de esto

  • NOONE BEATS HALFORD!!!

  • @wwerulestna Wrong!!! Geoff Tate..damn anyone can scream bro!!

  • Did anybody notice that at of all the crazy ass guitarists Neil Schon played the best solo LOL Neil Schon blew all of them away thats like getting beat up by a girl but in all seriousness Neil Schon can shred when he wants to

  • @CpMKrunk He played the worst one.

  • God Bless them all!! A wonderful record for a fanstastic cause!!

  • The title of the project is insensitive to those that are hard of hearing.

  • Am I the only one that doesn't like Geoff Tate's voice that much?

  • @PijnigeR I love Geoff´s voice but this song is not sitting in a perfect range for him. He´s voice is lower then Dio´s so Geoff has to sing let´s say a G4 or A4 in a headier cordination which make´s the voice sound less full then Ronnie´s , but instead he has an easier access to notes around and above C5. You can listen to Bruce Dickinson and Michael Kiske and hear that kiske sings all notes above F#4 headier then Bruce but also has a much easier time around and above C5.

  • @Bjoerrelli Perhaps, perhaps. But everybody in the comments is loving the crap out of him in this song. But I don't. Maybe it's because I hate the music his own band makes normally. I don't know:)

  • @PijnigeR I like their early stuff up until Empire. But I can understand that if you like a less complex kind of music and perhaps a more straight a head rock´n roll approach to playing and singing then Queensryche simply ain´t your cup of tea.

  • @Bjoerrelli That's not entirely the case. I"m a big fan of Judas priest and W.A.S.P. for example. Their music is more rock 'n roll. That's true but it isn't less complex IMO.

  • @Bjoerrelli Jesus, that's called hitting the nail on the head. This song, IMO, isn't best suited for Tate's voice. Neue Regel (Queensryche) is the best vocal performance in the history of metal, and I would challenge anyone in this collection of artists to match it.

  • @PijnigeR Yeah I'm not too keen on it, I love Queensryche but I find his voice to be a bit too high.

  • Geoff Tate!!!!!! now people, this is just my opinion, ready? Geoff os the best of all time. there, I said it.

  • "we're not evil people just up for sex drugs and money"

vince neil, a member of motley fuckin' crue

    LOL

  • If today we had the idea to make something similar we would have a problem ..

We have no real bands and real artists ......And yeah we have bands.....MTV products

  • \m/ !

  • fuck me my speakers nearly blew on halfords bit.

  • Dave meniketti of Y&T and Paul Shortino are the surprise great vocals and sound great on the song, but Geoff blows everyone away

  • This thing is awsome. I have it in VHS :D BTW, on my forthcoming album I composed one song which is kind of wink to this. It contains epic solos, great singers, big chorus etc. Check some vids on my profile, especially the last one I posted. The solo part will be +/- 6 minutes long. I tryed to have Geoff tate on the project.. but... ;)

  • its not a comparison of who got it 1st!

its a song where people do TAKES.

geoff got it wrong and then he tore the song a new asshole. cause thats what singers do! they sing, make mistakes and then better choices.

put any other guy sing operation mindcrime 1 and 2 at the same night. it takes skill, not 1st takes.

  • Man I love the freaky hilarious 80's clothes and huge hair. Dio and Tate. GREAT vocals. Hey, the Quiet Riot dude did a great job! I hated that band but he rocked this song! Rob Halford... I could listen to him all day. This was really really fun to watch. Thanks!

  • loved Vince´s little speech in the end

  • Comment removed

  • Geoffs voice was so great back then!

  • geoff tate THE best

  • RIP Voice of Metal

  • @paradom Couldn't have said it better..

  • R.I.P Ronnie James Dio Deine Musik lebt immer in uns weiter.Great Vocalist&Frontmen

  • Dio is truly the best ever.

    Rest in Peace Ronnie.

  • Meniketti nails it ! as always.........

  • @unkrock62

Yep..Along with Geoff Tate. RJD commented on both of them as almost perfect like, how much better can ya get?

  • RONNIE HAMES DIO his music will live forever!!! descanse em paz.

  • geoff is no.1 ..end of discussion

  • DAVE THE VERY BEST!!

  • some of you say, Geoff is the best. e is amazing, but the one and only is Don Dokken

  • the guy on the left at 3:15 turned out to be gay ... i mean who would have known? xD

  • Geoff Tate's voice at 4:33 is shameful, not expecting me so bad,..... terrible...

who is the man at 8:04? that says OH yes.....!

  • @santyrush The guy at 8:04 is David St. Hubbins from the semi-fictional band Spinal Tap. He's played by Michael Mckean, and yes, it IS awig :-)

The band appeared in the 1984 film " This Is Spinal Tap", a satirical "rockumentary". Every rock/metal fan should see it, it's hilarious!

  • Geoff Tate's voice at 4:33 is shameful, not expecting me so bad,..... terrible...

  • adrian and dave were amazing

  • I really loved the powerful entry of Dave Meniketti, and the solo of Malmsteen, you can hear from miles that it's him playing the guitar!

  • dio-tate-halford and shortino owned this shit!!!!

bad ass vocalists??? where are guys that sing like that these days??? I really want to know--

  • @ zexedearth89 YOU GOT THAT RIGHT, IF YOU CHECK OUT THE ACTUAL VID, @ 2:08 HE HITS THE NOTES WAY HIGHER THAN ANY OF THEM. ALL OF THEM AREN'T FIT TO LICK ROB'S BALL SWEAT, EVEN THOUGH HE MIGHT LIKE IT, BUT STILL

  • Comment removed

  • Paul shortinos voice owned eveyrones voice in this except Halfords

  • TATE = GOD !

  • You got that right!

  • sabes lo que es que ronnie te diga "si si me gusta"

  • Geof Tate ?

    Dio??

I mean check the chorus ,THE VOICE OF THE METAL GOD IS DOMINATING THE SOUND!!!!!!!!!!

    ROB FUCKING HALFORD!

  • Geoff Tate's the best singer in history, his voice is fuckin unreal, or at least it was...

  • wtf look at geoff's voice,how clean,how great...walkin' talent!!

  • the only thing that disappointed me about this song was that they didn't use enough Rob Halford. Geoff Tate is the best though.

  • ow fuck! I never saw Geoff has voice like this! He is GREAT singer,Bruce just can keep on his fuckn' screaming...Geoff can SCREAM n' SING,Bruce-only what he can is screamin' like bitch when fucked on wrong side of pussy-thats my thinkin'!

  • Great mix of talent! Tate, Lynch and Yngwie stole the show however.

  • they should have put nicko and bruce in too!

  • Geoff Tate is the best singer ever

  • one of the best...

  • nah, try Mike from Steelheart, or Kiske from Helloween

  • @TheDODDSHOW are you nuts how about Rob Halford does "Metal God" means anything to you?

  • This was a cool video! Haha, I liked the little part with Adrian and Dave :).

It would have been even more epic if Bruce was there too! I would have loved to see how he did :).

  • !!! yeah Adrian Smith Dave Murray....@!!!

  • I loved how Dio had nothing more to say after Geoff's performance but "Great, great, great!" Geoff is AWESOME!

  • Dio wins, Tate 2nd

  • Dio is good but he is 2nd, Tate is first

  • putting away our preferences,Tate has the best package-low,high,tone,emotion,everything!

  • Agreed. Metal was the best era for vocals. Guys with pure, powerful range (Tate), smooth (Dokken), loud/angry (Dio,Halford), and raw (WASP)....they could all make excellent music. Imagine if the bar was raised re: lyrics? We'd have an unkillable era.

  • at that time yes! BUT after the duet " the chase " ...I am not so sure anymore , considering age I think now?....and really I am a HUGE QR fan.....and I will whisper...dio ownd tate in the chase

  • I'm all for Ryche, they're still my favorite metal band, but yea...Dio got Tate there. lol, still, both are awesome vocalists in there own right

  • hey ddude924 ..that is why i whispered LOL, because I do not want to get people upset for saying what i feel is in my very humble opinion the truth and again I am A HUGE fan of tate ,so it was very difficult for me to admit ...ok Ronnie you may have the credit for the chase!!!... LOL

  • the bets vocalist here is Halford...but all of them have sth special ... we cannot compare them.

  • I'm sorry guys to interrupt you, but... DAMN! DEFINITELY DIO!!!

  • I'm not going to argue about who is the best singer here, but I personaly like Tate's part very much!

  • Halford is the best, end of story.

  • @rredzone They're all great lol, no need to elect a best.

  • Tone doesn't equate with great vocals... Just because you might like the sound of ones voice it doesn't mean they're the best singer.. Take Eric Adams from Manowar for instance.. His vocal talent by far blows away any of these guys but I'd rather listen to Tate for example because I like his voice better and so do most other people...that said as far as sheer power goes Meniketti, Dubrow, Dio, and Shortino blow Tate, Halford, Dokken, and the rest outta the friggin' studio. lol

  • Dubrow and Shortino blow Tate and Halford "out of the water"? Are you high? Honestly, it would be quite difficult to find anyone to match the power of Tate or Halford, and that includes Dio, who is a machine. Tate's power is unparalleled. Listen to "Someone Else" by Tate and tell me Dubrow, (rest in peace) deserves to be on that list.

  • Listen the Wild and the Young and then try and picture Tate singing it. I mean in reality it is comparing apples and oranges because the styles are so different... There is not a single song by Rough Cutt, Quiet Riot, Y&T, etc.. that either Geoff Tate or Rob Halford could sing and do justice to.

  • Hey man, I agree, not many could duplicate Dubrow's range, especially in the song off that same album called Twilight Hotel. Dubrow has range, he sounds great. It's just that he and Shortino (and Manichetti) have excellent range, which is not to be confused with power. Bruce Dickinson has power but no range, so that's why he's not on the list. I would prefer to opinion of other metal singers than ours, though, and most if not all of them put Tate in a vocal realm all his own.

  • Chris Cornell.

  • @BlackRainZero And I love Chris Cornell because he reminds me so much of Dio.

  • Halford has pure power in his voice man.. Shortino is gangsta tho.

  • you have no idea what youre talking about..tate is one of the most technically skilled singers of all time and eric is great but shure not better than him

  • Halford and Dio are Gods, but Geoff Tate rips everyone a new arsehole here vocalwise.

  • The best rock/metal vocal performances: Neue Regel (Geoff Tate)/You don't Remember, I'll never forget - Jeff Soto/Kill Your Pretty Face - Blackie Lawless/Last in Line - Ronnie Dio/Promised Land - Geoff Tate/I Remember You - Sebastian Bach/

Modern Day Cowboy - Jeff Keith/ Resurrection - Rob Halford/You're Crazy - Axl Rose/Bat out of Hell - Michael Aday (Meatloaf)/Still of the Night - David Coverdale/The Show must go on - Freddie Mercury/Faithfully - Steve Perry...COMMENTS?

  • Hey, you've listed some very good performances here. I agree with most except the inclusion of Blackie and Bach. Dio, Tate and Coverdale are my favorite rock singers.

  • Neue Regel is indeed thee best metal vocal performance of all time. The note he hits at the end is enough to kill the entire list. Resurrection is good singing by Halford, but not exactly his best. Give me Blood Red Skies by Halford anyday. I listened to "kill your pretty face" by WASP, and have to agree, it's awesome. His voice is an acquired taste, but that song is good. I hate to admit Skid Row's "I'll remember you" belongs there, but it does. Back is a shithead but great singer.

  • back = bach

  • "You Don't Remember, I'll Never Forget" was sung by Mark Boals, not JSS.

I would pick "Eyes of a Stranger" for Tate.

    Good list though!

  • Comment removed

  • Maniketti got it right the first time, wow. The guy's got a woman's voice. He hits those notes and only those notes, his entire career. Tate has deep, powerful range beyond most of the singers in this roster. It may not be a competition, but it's cool to hear them side by side. The song was geared for voices just like Maniketti's. Tate was out of his element, is all.

  • Great musicians but Tate is the best. ;)

  • Sorry Tate isn't the best, Meniketti is :D

  • Well, you have your opinion and I have mine. ;)

  • True but Geoff needed more than one take to get his parts right.. Dave got em right the first time :)

  • That's because Geoff believe in perfection. LOL!

  • Wrong, that's because Ronnie James didn't think Geoff's first takes were good enough. The only 2 who got it right the first time were Dave Meniketti, and Kevin Dubrow...

  • How do you know? Did you talk to Dio personally?

  • And Halford!

  • What are the names of all the songs in this video?

  • it's one song dummy

  • Simple mistake dummy.

  • even if there's just one song, you can name "all the songs" dummy

  • I'm sorry, how can one name all the songs when it's only one song? Are you confused?

  • no, i'm not confused--you are. if there's one song, name it. then you've named "all the songs".
