Timelapse with the Hacked GH2 - 2k anamorphic

i got a used gh1 last week because i've seen your videos, i'm trying to figure out the ultimate patch for shooting skateboarding/rollerblading, but i havent been following the development of the patches from the beginning so i was wondering if you could recommend the best patch for 1080 24/25p avchd and the best for 720 50/60p avchd (the one you use when you twixtor) so i could combine the settings, i use the timelapser settings for mjpeg but i don't know what to use for avchd?

I was playing around with burst mode and the shutter will only go down to 40th of a second so won't work for night stuff, unless there is a hack.

Your way is better but I need faster lens the kit lens is to slow. That new Panasonic 25mm 1.4 starting to look really nice right now. LOL

the reason i subscribed to you was to see your awsome video but as of latley all you do is gh2 stuff and i dont have that camera so this is not intresting to me i wish you would make movies and films again like you did when i first subbed to you. unfortunatley i will be unsubscribing from you because what you have talked about for the last 6 or 7 months does not intrest me at all. however i wish you the best of luck and just thought i should let you know why i was unsubscribing.

Mark there is a trick to use the electronic shutter on the GH2. You need to put the GH2 in burst mode 40fps and then use a Intervalometer to only take one photo.

@mp4podcastDOTcom Thanks for the link. The JPG burst mode is a good option if you have an intervalometer compatible with GH cameras. As far as quality/resolution is concerned the 130mb+ hacks are equal to 1080p burst mode. I have a video I did comparing the 2 a few months ago. The jpeg mode is really poor compared to the raw stills the camera can produce

@robojot Probably best to do that with stills using the EOS utility. If a low FPS video mode is hacked into any Canon cameras I'll try it right away on a 5D or 7D

@eyepatchentertainmen there is a fps override hack for the 60d and 600d but its not officialy implemented to magic lantern yet

@TFTOP Lol. almost as if it was planned that way. There were another 2 minutes, but I can't find them. Just make sure if you try this to leave the LCD off, and you will greatly increase battery life.
