@Uxoriouswidow beacuse that isn't how the song is mate. Listen to it and you will find the second part of the song is branch that has diverted from the main trunk. The song goes whichever way the artist wants it to, so don't try to suggest what it should be doing, instead enjoy the song in its true form.
