@urheelslooksogood get a new trackball housing has nothing to do with the trackball, lol. but any bbs wit a trackball the ball usually gives out all u gotta do is replace it, its easy nd itll be good as new again :D

@Limster17 What you need to do is change the stickers that connect the buttons to the housing. MonsieurBobbyTV has a video on changing the housing on this model and he shows what to change to make sure the buttons work. I had the same problem and didn't know how to fix it until I realized I was missing the stickers/ribbons!

Hell, I got a new housing from these guys and they don't mention anything about how to transfer over the camera flash and the lower antenna that is integrated on the OEM housings...I had to keep the old OEM back housing because of this....

There are two small white color square things on the old housing that you need to transfer to the new piece.

my BB doesnt play music out loud but does thru headphones, it vibrates fine and i can hear people and talk to them but the ringing doesnt have any sound. so what do i need to replace? anyone?

This is retarded, try making a video that FULLY shows how to convert, you forgot to switch over the standby and lock contacts. SMH 1 star.

this video is useless, when u are changing housing plates, u need to remove some stickers, that u will need for the new housing, plus u need to remove the camer, and the speaker from the back i just changed my housing plates, and it is a easy job if u know what u need to remove from the original housing

@mamaj3030 did u change the speaker on the back ? ofcourse u did right, well the thing is, the ringtone speaker is glued to the housing, if u take out the speakers u will break it, this happened to me, so i have to order a new set, or could be a bad connection between the speaker and the circuit bord which i don't it is, but trust me im sure u broke the speaker when u took it off from the housing, if is the ear speaker, well i have no idea, i changed both when i changed my housing

Can you do one on the blackberry curve 8530? that's the newest curve from verizon, and the housing is alot different than with other blackberries. It looks like it just snaps off but I'm not sure. I'm scared to try to change it.
