Album seems to have a very wide range of sound. Almost like they are still searching for exactly what they are looking for, or maybe what we're looking for, as an audience. I hope they stick with this sound though. THIS is rock and roll at its finest! Great song!

Their songs and the whole album grows on me more and more every time I listen to it. I bought it after reading some good reviews and gave it a spin and thought it was good then didn't listen to it for about 2 weeks. Then I forgot my iPod at home and the only cd I had in my car for a 3 hour drive was The Gracious Few. My god what GREAT music! Finally a great ROCK band. Love to see them live sometime.

These guys are just totally amazing! they just RAWK!! been a long time since I have seen a live show as good as this, they are amazing.. and I totally agree, I think Kevin Martin has one of the best, if not the best rock voices out there!! And these are primo musicians, it just doesn't get much better than this!! If you have not seen them live and you love live rock, you can't miss it, they were a real treat for me!!
Saw these guys a couple of weeks ago at a small venue and they tore it up. Best live show I've seen since I saw Live three years ago. With all the crappy 'music' nowadays, I'm glad to see the guys from Live hook up with a great frontman like Kevin Martin (Candlebox fame) and produce such a solid effort. Check them out if you get the chance.
Anyone who questions this as good old fashion, kick ass, rock and roll, does NOT know what rock is. I grew up listening to rock through the 70's, 80's and 90's. We have been needing some real chit like this for a long time. Bring it on baby!!!!
@chocolatecookie5 Rock n' roll was ALL about getting lose? Listen to U2's early work? Pink Floyd, Led Zep's whole discography is littered with party AND political lyrics. You find MANY tributes to old school blues - you know, the father of Rock n'Roll. Slaves sure weren't talking about "cutting lose" when the whip came down. I'd suggest you start looking at other schools, or reading other material and listening to the music that your professors aren't mentioning.

Pink floyd and led zepplin and U2 are classic rock. there is as much as a difference between rock and roll and classic rock as there is from hard rock to metal. (A BIG difference.) Musically they are similar lyric wise they aren't.
Now the rock and roll lyrics were PRIMARILY about cutting loose, there was the occasional slave lyric poems. Thank you.

Glad to see the Chad's back in action. I was a music promoter at the University of Buffalo in 1991 and brought LIVE up there before they broke wide open...when they used to play the college circuit.. They are AMAZING musicians and have been a big influence on my music career. I think that this is the sound they've been looking or for years. GOOD CHEMISTRY with Candelbox refugees.

Amazing lead guitar! Whew... Great, original song and sound. INCREDIBLE LEAD VOCAL!!! Like Wow! He's got pipes. This whole band seems really cohesive and plays well off each other. Cool dudes. Luv the vid too! Their use of light and shadows with the camera angles, transitions and muted colo- filter, with the music makes for an amazing experience watching and listening... Love it!

Saw these guys a couple of weeks ago at a small venue and they tore it up. Best live show I've seen since I saw Live three years ago. With all the crappy 'music' nowadays, I'm glad to see the guys from Live hook up with a great frontman like Kevin Martin (Candlebox fame) and produce such a solid effort. Check them out if you get the chance.

Anyone who questions this as good old fashion, kick ass, rock and roll, does NOT know what rock is. I grew up listening to rock through the 70's, 80's and 90's. We have been needing some real chit like this for a long time. Bring it on baby!!!!

rock and roll lyrics were all about gettin' loose having fun and dancing.
this would be considered TODAY's rock and roll, or just.. rock. :) not being an ass, but I go to school for this.. so I know. :P

@chocolatecookie5 Rock n' roll was ALL about getting lose? Listen to U2's early work? Pink Floyd, Led Zep's whole discography is littered with party AND political lyrics. You find MANY tributes to old school blues - you know, the father of Rock n'Roll. Slaves sure weren't talking about "cutting lose" when the whip came down. I'd suggest you start looking at other schools, or reading other material and listening to the music that your professors aren't mentioning.

@KicknGuitar Actually let me re-clarify that, rock and roll is about cutting lose and having fun such as bill haley and the comets and elvis etc.
Pink floyd and led zepplin and U2 are classic rock. there is as much as a difference between rock and roll and classic rock as there is from hard rock to metal. (A BIG difference.) Musically they are similar lyric wise they aren't.
Now the rock and roll lyrics were PRIMARILY about cutting loose, there was the occasional slave lyric poems. Thank you.

Muscially they were similar. But lyric wise they were not.

I bought their debut album 2 days ago and I love it. Personaly I hope that 'Crying Time' will be their next single. Plus I hope that they visit Europe soon. I want to see them in concert!

I just love the introduction & that beautiful, whining guitar, Whawha! NIce drum kit! Ya know in looking at him, I wouldn't have thought that voice would come out of such a humble-lookin fella! They got their name while contemplating the meaning of "grateful" in The Greateful Dead..... They all seem like really great guys and incredibly talented. I love his voice and his their stage-presence, would love to see them LIVE! Most-EXCELLENT SONG!!!

The show at TLA in Philly was awesome. Only 3080 views?!!? what is wrong with people. As Kevin Martin said on Friday night "you know the rule, spread the word."
You have to love how he interacts with the crowd... my g.f. was lucky enough to sing with him a few times.

Glad to see the Chad's back in action. I was a music promoter at the University of Buffalo in 1991 and brought LIVE up there before they broke wide open...when they used to play the college circuit.. They are AMAZING musicians and have been a big influence on my music career. I think that this is the sound they've been looking or for years. GOOD CHEMISTRY with Candelbox refugees.

Amazing lead guitar! Whew... Great, original song and sound. INCREDIBLE LEAD VOCAL!!! Like Wow! He's got pipes. This whole band seems really cohesive and plays well off each other. Cool dudes. Luv the vid too! Their use of light and shadows with the camera angles, transitions and muted colo- filter, with the music makes for an amazing experience watching and listening... Love it!
