@ mrbassaddicto3 not necessarily. Sometimes smaller fish aren't worth the effort and time, especially if there are bigger ones about. I personally love fishing for smaller fish though.

The spawn is the best fishing of the year in Texas. Black Bass Virus caused a big kill in a lot of lakes back 5 years ago, but now the lakes are recovering. Amistad is darn near as good as Mexico and doesn't cost big bucks. On my way to Fayette County Reservoir where I caught easily 35 fish 4-6 lbs in one day on waterdogs. Choke Canyon, Alan Henry, Sam Rayburn are all in great shape. Y'all come on down. The next few weeks could be absolutely incredible fishing.

Good rod I have 3 a 6"9 a 6"11a 7"2 all mh but I would never use a quantum I stick with shimano diawa and abu Garcia good video and try the new owner creature baits they really work
