The primary reason everyone says they've heard it from Michelle is because they DID. I've only heard their songs in her videos. Because of Michelle, LNA has a lot more listeners. I'm not a fan of Michelle Phan, but to be perfectly honest, many wouldn't know about LNA if it weren't for her. That's why LNA's crediting her by putting her in one of their upcoming music videos.
