  • He is superficial and obviously he never visited any East European country during the Cold War. He doesn't understand the difference between a tractor manufactured by a state-owned undertaking (then Zetor) and the ones manufactured by private companies (e.g. John Deere). Sure, in both cases politicians are happy with the tractor produced, but that's the only similarity..

  • @BaumerPaulGefreiter As a consumer which would you buy (and in Eastern Europe at that time they couldn't afford either) a Trabant or a Volkswagen?

  • @ukipwebmaster Certainly a Volkswagen, though in Eastern Europe this would depend on a number of different considerations (availability of spare sparts, availability of skilled workshops for a given make - so that a Skoda might have been the best choice).

  • Nigel is a hero!

  • I watched some videos of this guy and he reminds me of a Dutch political party... the SP.. Always complaining, but I would like to see this guy in a gouvernment when he has to defend... it's easy to complain, but to choose from a or b which both have downsides is a difficult position... especialy when there are guys like this in the Parliament!

  • Farage is the guy ! Giving big slaps !

  • This sends a shiver down my spine considering this was from January 2009: and here we are in June 2011 everything he has said has come true. Truly terrifying stuff.

  • I wonder who will help us Dutch when we run out of money ourselves? That little man on the moon??? We were never asked if we wanted the Euro and we were lied and cheated into the Lisbon Treaty after a referendum where 65% of the Dutch said no against the EU Constitution. This totalitarian EU will fall one day if we, the people, unite and stand up against our oppressors.

GIVE US OUR DEMOCRACY BACK, YOU EUNATIONALISTSBASTARDS!!!!

  • So why is this man only getting 3% in the polls. How come so many people claim to love him yet only 3% mean it? We are slavish liars in the UK

If you believe in him ,then damned well VOTE for him!

  • Now the Germans have helped both Greece and Ireland one can wonder what

will happen when the Germans gets tired of this, I am so grateful that we kept

    the Krona.

  • @svartekaptenen damn am i glad to be swiss!

    peace and democratie

  • Well, I saw RED FLAGGS in the hands of the Greek crowd, Mr. Farage. I am afraid they were NOT demanding devaluation or that "the government does something". They are demanding more socialism. You know - the Greek gvnmt actually does a lot - they are firing people out of public transport companies, they are preparing sellouts of state-owned undertakings - and the crowd is NOT supporting this. Please do NOT tell us the Greek crowd is libertarian-minded.

  • @BaumerPaulGefreiter Even if I like Mr. Farage, you make a point on this one ;-)

  • I m from Greece, after everything we have been and still going through, i only wish we had a dozen politicians here like mr. Farage. I dont know what UKIP stands for, all i know is in the end when you see every democratic right you had and past generations died for, been revoked and vandalized because somebody else decided so on the other side of Europe merely thinking their own economic interest, you say screw everything. I m glad someone, even non-Greek stands up to these values. Bravo!!

  • @D0nKorleone Greece gave democracy to the world. It should reclaim it now.

  • @ Kurtlane

"Völkerkerker" is what nationalists called the old Austro-Hungarian Empire.

  • This man is fabulous. May he team up with Hon. Geert Wilders and win Prime Minister of Britain.

  • nigel farage is a rarety,a politician who is telling the truth.

  • Again, very good :-)

  • awesome.

  • yeeah communistic EU xD lol

  • What is Volgakirche? (He mentions it at 2:24)

  • @Kurtlane

I think he said "Völkerkerker" --> dungeon to the peoples.

  • wow i didnt know that you UKIP fascist rightwingers were comrades afterall LOL...are you going through a personality crisis?

  • @dpapaioannow Weird............

  • @ukipwebmaster weird?you mean me?iam weird too heh?LOL

  • @dpapaioannow

wow , i didn't know that you were a goodfornothing Nazi European who knows nothing about democracy or Politics

  • @dpapaioannow WOw so you got brainwashed by mainstream media as well? Oh shame on you. At least you've got the smoke screen away from your eyes.. eventually.

  • @dpapaioannow Freedom is always so confusing to slaves, who have never tasted of its ambrosia.

  • @dpapaioannow You are a moron if you think UKIP is fascist or right wing. UKIP is libertarian, fascism is statism. Two opposite poles dumbass.

  • @dpapaioannow Hmm well my dear uneducated poor boy. From where the world fascism bacame. Yes Italy. What does it mean: Its is name for collectivist centralized political and ecconemical system in Italy during 20s 30s 40s od 20th century. The head of facist movement was Benito Mussolini. Who was Benito? Son of founder of Socialist party of Italy, long time member of Socialist party of Italy, left wing journalist.

WHAT RIGHT WING U MEAN IN CONNECTION WITH FASCISM?

  • Bring in PR. my vote in the general election is useless, a complete safe labour seat.

  • Nigel Farage is the man -one the best things about the man is that he needs no teleprompter -Why? because he is smart -unlike Obama's dumb ass

  • If UKIP were to state that they would have a referendum on an English parliament being reinstated, then they would get a lot of the English nationalist vote. The only reason I dont support UKIP is their unionist values. England needs a political party of its own as the Scots have and the English Democrats are definitely not the answer as its leadership is corrupt

  • @billrbaker I've mentioned this before so listen very carefully I shall say this only once. The last thing we need is yet another level of government and politicians.

Our proposals for devolution are an elegant and fair solution and don't involve costly buildings and an army of civil servants.

You can read the policy on the national site.

  • @ukipwebmaster EUCCP? are you idiots? CCCP is chirillic, EU is latin.... you can't mix-up alphabets like that, if you actually want to ridicule yourselves by making the EU seem like the USSR than at least write it as EUSSR..... or alternatively EBCCP, although that would be stupid, since only bulgaria in the whole EU uses chyrillic; but nevermind that... why do you insist on calling the EU the new USSR?

  • @ukipwebmaster you know, in case you haven't heard, there is such a thing as a democratic federation even ones than were brought about by the will of the individual members; here's an example: the USA; why can't the future USE be like USA, why do you brainwash people into thinking the only possible kind of union is one after the soviet model?

  • @bbphnix Firstly the Federal states now have more independence than countries in Europe, secondly our history goes back longer than 200 odd years..............

  • @ukipwebmaster I like that you reply quickly... and that you acutally reply other uploaders just ignore messages.... than here's my question to you ukip, something that I really wanted to ask; I am all for the EU as I do beleive in strength in unity.... and in the principles of unity in diversity the EU was founded on... why do you insist on getting Britain out of EU or the EU disbanding completely? When a much more sensible action would be to try and fix it...

  • @bbphnix You seem to have posted a lot but there is one simple answer. The EU and empires like it can never work and never be fixed.

  • @ukipwebmaster why don't you fight for the EU to undergo reforms, why doesn't farage instead of saying the EU should disappear, why doesn't he argue for changing the EU? if it's too beaurocratic, than come up with reforms that will make it less beuarocratic; if it's too over-regulated, than reduce the regulation... if parts of some treaty are unacceptable to some countries than why not change those parts and make it acceptable for all (which I think they acutally did with the Lisbon Treaty,

  • @ukipwebmaster eventually, from what I read); if the states of the united states are more free, as you say, than tell that to the euro-parlament and ask them to change things... I'm sure if you don't argue so much for disbanding, but for simply solving the errors, the parliament will listen.... if farage was for fixing problems rather than just abandoning the project altogether, I would support him all the way... if the EU needs a doctor than by all means, please get it a doctor but don't

  • @ukipwebmaster euthanize it

  • @ukipwebmaster and it's that history that needs to be closed down; our common european history has produced the wide variety of people we see today and it's wonderful; but history has shown that this diversity has (except for the 1950s-today period) produced wars and greed over territory rather than unity in diversity... the time for ethnic evolution and nationalism has gone, the european world aas it is today needs to be locked in place and democracy, liberty and economy allowed to

  • @ukipwebmaster evolve in a safe stable environment, which the EU can provide; this I say as a counter-argument to the 'our history goes back longer than 200 odd years..."; but of course, if the EU isn't providing that, than please, by all means, help it, help us; but don't let it split apart

  • @ukipwebmaster so... my question: why not repair as the policy of ukip rather than bin?

  • @ukipwebmaster or maybe it's europe for freedom and democracy... not ukip .... not sure, but you get to whom I have addressed the queestion

  • He is RIGHT

  • Farage for president!

Und weg mit den Herrschaften mit den Attitüden eines Wischlappens aus einem Nichtland!

  • Yes , booing and jeering is what the leftists have always been good at.

  • You make me proud sir :)

  • good to see somebody in Britain still has cojones

  • The hope is that Britain will be the first nation to strike the bureaucratic bulky vessel with a torpedo labelled FREEDOM. This is now the only strong country in Europe where there seems to exist any chance of organised and efficient opposition against new paneuropean dictatorship. I've tested 23 years of communism on my skin. The way the Eurocrats speak is, yes - REMINISCENT of old times. Mr. Farage is absolutely right here.

  • Pactio olipisiensis cescenda est!

  • Farage makes you proud to be british

  • The men in grey suits hate UKip. I love this party and their abiltiy to poke fun at the moribund socialist hierarchy that is Brussels.

Ukip all the way to the General Election!

  • @DoverFerry It's not socialist. It's neo-liberal and corporatist. Socialism mainly is a set of values, where equality is the foremost. It's sad the former left has turned neo-liberal.

  • I'm danish and i think Farage is a great man! I just love his edgy raw and harsh speeches, that are still wrapped in truth and not lies and deceit... I would be proud to be British too if i was....

  • @limeisasuckyname in the U.S., we have non-US-citizen president. Hell, if that's OK, I'd ship in Farage for President of U.S. - I love him.

  • This guy has a fantastic voice. Could listen to him making snide comments all day.

  • A Vote 4 BNP is vote against all other ethnic groups, against honour, sacrifice, duty and courage. PLEASE DONT VOTE BNP.....

  • Who are you to tell people who too vote for or not?. It's a free country and we have "free speech" here. I don't agree with the BNP policy either, but i don't go around telling people who they should and should not vote for..... By your name i can clearly tell why you don't want the BNP in power, but thats not your choice.

Free thinking is an english legal tradition we should be proud of.

  • Errr......

Free speech means being able to say to people either to vote or not to vote for a particular party.

  • Yes i'm fully aware of that, but i'v seen that exactly the same comment from him on many videos so something had too be said. I'E said it fast and in annoyence.

  • @facejapan If you paid attention, and either listened to anything stated by representatives of UKIP or read just a little bit of the information on their website, you would realise they are essentially a libertarian party. The entire point of their existence is freedom to choose.

  • Pathetic argument. Thanks for promoting them, well done.

  • Everybody who supports UKIP must make a donation in order for the party to expand. It's not too much to ask as they are doing all the work on behalf of everybody. Please visit the UKIP website, look towards the right and you'll see Make A Donation. Please donate whatever you can afford, no matter how little or how big. By donating.. you are doing your bit too.

  • The creation of the EU was wrought with peril. Not since the Roman empire has Europe been so economically homogenized into a single system and currency. Of course, leaving itself open to possible revolts and seiges similar to Alaric's march on Rome. Stymied by inept governance, high debt and interest rates, Alaric march the Goths to the gates of Rome. Well, let's hope we learned something since. Good luck Europe.

  • LOL!

Comment must be approoved by UKIPWEBMASTER. LOL!

So much to UKIP democracy intentions.

PS: I know you will approove this message to "proove" you dont block people. But fact stays we cant know how many other people you disaprooved because of being pro-EU. Shame on you.

  • Yawn.......

  • This eurosceptic guys runs me crazy. Moaners.

You say parliament is weak, eu is making decisions in shadow, full of bureaucracy and cant leave the EU.

So was born Lisbon treaty reducing number of bureaucratic politicians, strenghtening parliament, enabling countries to leave EU and ordering council to act on public. And you still moan. Do you have some dignity? Or just scared that eurosceptic would turn pro-european or neutral after lisbon ?

  • Was there not something in about reducing or removing powers of vetoe. Would it not have been more democratic to have something in allowing a citizens by having a signed petition to have laws debated or created or removed like Switzerland. What about an election by citizens to members of the council? What about removing of all perks and allowances and allowing citizens to decide on what is appropriate?

  • 2:15: "...violence becomes the only solution..." Wow.

  • This is not advocating violence but simply pointing out what is happening already in places like Greece.

  • I understood that he's not advocating, I'm not from the BNP. I'm just gaping at the terms and language being used in Brussels, and we hear nothing of it on the news but you can see (if one has a political eye, as it were) that there is a serious political crisis brewing.

  • Farage is the only British politician speaking sense at the moment, if this recession gets any worse then I think things will spill over into violence and Europe will be powerless to reverse it due to it being too big and bureaucratic. With the economic crisis and political turmoil we are possibly witnessing the simultaneous collapse of the American and European empires.

  • And the rise of Asian empires (China and India are growing quite fast from what i've heard). This is quite possibly, the most sensible comment i've ever read on youtube. So you can have my little congratulations.

  • I never realized it before. The ability that we have in the US (slashing or raising interest rates) is not available to any one country in Europe. European countries sometimes go through economic slowdowns that aren't as severe as their neighbors. If the Europeans lowered interest rates for only Greece, then Italy will also suffer from the inflation along with Greece.

Wow, the Euro is pretty stupid.

  • So stupid that it passed the Dollar in worth....

  • And that is relevant in what context, exactly? Are you a currency trader or involved in import and export?

  • Reminds me of the novel, Animal farm by George Orwell. Worth a read.

  • goosebumps...woot!!

  • Incredible speech!

    FINALLY a decent European politician!

  • I will vote for Nigel Farage, but I live in Germany :-(

This EUSSR is part of the plan of NEW WORLD ORDER for an totalitarian ONE WORLD PARLMAMENT

  • Divide and Conquer:)

good guy, good agent of the CIA

  • Nigel Farage what a dude

Like i've said, a country that joins the euro doesn't not become equally good at laying bricks and building businesses over night.

It needs It's own control over it's currency to fix industrial problems unique to it's own economy.

  • Death to the EUSSR

  • The EU bureaucrats (and US politicians for that matter) think that "they" can direct and control an incredibly complex system by forcing it to perform unnaturally. But the old law of Supply and Demand still works. How does printing trillions of phony money "help" any economy in the long run? The world is not Monopoly.

  • Well said, I think you and I should run the EU.

  • Lowering interest rates does work to stimulate economic growth. Ronald Reagan proved that in the eighties. This guy was talking about letting individual countries decide their own interest rate, so that they can cater to their own specific economic problems.

  • Lower interest rates helps if there is sufficient available capital for it to be worthwhile lending at such lowered rates. These rate cuts are far too little, far too late - as usual.

  • how come my message is not posted?

  • Just be patient, you've got your wish. Your comment is below and now the whole world knows how stupid you are.

  • MEP Farage is a danger as other citizens who also half understand what is going on may like his demagogic stories. Central banks need wisdom, not demagogic political meddling. Remember mortgage rates of 14%, or the controls on currency movements, Nigel? You would just make a Zimbabwe out of the UK.

  • So New Labour's plan to print money is not at all like Mugabe's policy?

  • his statement is the opposite of what I heard on the news last week,

    1999 --> 1.60€ = 1P

    2009 --> 1€ = 1P

wich means either the euro is doing well or the pound is doing even worse.

  • he's talking about how countries confined within the euro can't accept the same prime rate the central banks set for ALL the countries.

  • Ok so could anyone explain in simple terms and short, what is the problem and how to solve it?

  • The problem is that nobody knows what the problem is and therefore nobody knows how to fix it, whatever it may be. To fix this problem we have to first try and find out what the problem is, and then spend money on fixing it, not the other way around like governments are doing now.

  • So good to hear the truth form time to time ...an absolute Master orator. Good on you Nigel!

  • We desperately need men like him here in the US. Our politicians have their heads firmly implanted up their asses especially when it comes to the economy. The meltdown Nigel was talking about WILL HAPPEN if the political class isn't overthrown somehow. I think it's refreshingly honest of him to acknowledge that that overthrow may very well be violent. I believe it will also be global. Something's gotta give.

  • You had a chance with Ron Paul but your fellow americans were too stupid to understand his concerns.

  • Being from America I wasn't aware of this guy, He reminds me a little of Ron Paul! Awesome!

  • We have a lot of people like him but we don't have propaganda like fox news and our country has freedom of speech.

  • We have state propaganda from the BBC which has become the media arm of New Labour.

  • Quite true but it's a question of scale.

I'm sure the BBC would find any way to foil new Labour's plans given the hammering they took in the Dodgy dossiers Hutton inquiry scandal.

But it is worth remembering they might be as you describe.

I take nothing on face value.

    Thanks.

  • I'm beggining to think the BBC, is run by anti semites.

  • Thats a good one!

  • good speaker

  • Nigel for PM

  • Nigel for US President.

  • What does it mean "comment waiting approval"!?

  • I am a Polish guy living in the UK, so I am not sure if I have got a right to be proud of this guy? (you know.. he is an englis in very obvious way...) Anyway - I am proud. And I certainly will vote for him in the next election.

  • Looks like this guy royally made a fool of himself: with the economic crisis, the british pound has completely fallen down compared to the euro, which has prevented continental Europe from crashing as much as the UK or the other countries who rejected the Euro at first (and now show signs of wanting to join, to save their economies)

  • Yhee because the economies all around the world are sooooooooooooooooooooooo much better! OH NO the big bad €, what should we do, RUN!! Haha EU-sceptic propaganda in action. At least I get a laugh or two when I see Nigel;), he just tries too much. Like a bad actor high on, eh, TEA.

  • that's a speech

  • Yeah, Nigel Farage is awesome. He's ten times the man Gordon Brown is.

  • nigel is worth a thousand browns.

  • This man should be Prime Minister of the UK. That's a perfect statement: the EU is about a political class imposing its will on the peoples of Europe.
