  • they are still on the way home :O

  • Omg guys the war is over.....theres no need to dress up like Stormtroopers

  • Why didn't they get genuine vehicles like these for Saving Private Ryan instead of that cheap fake Tiger?

  • @Finkie147

Because there is only 1 or 2 operational tigers in existance

  • @1ownjoo2 You didn't read my question!

  • These are real stugs?

  • haha its so funny when AMERICANS want to play "german soldier" :D

  • @Abensberg

Im an american but im also German by blood. So what does that mean then ?

  • @1ownjoo2 are you born in germany?

    or just german ancestors?

anyways youre an american, if youve got an american ID ;-)

  • @Abensberg

I was born Germany, Frankfurt.. Im German but i have American Citizenship

  • if its german it's "sturmgeschütz" with ü

  • Sturmgeschutz is close-support artillery and tank hunter. Its not a tank .

  • I say to heck with the tiger, this is an awsome tank...though I've always had a thing for fixes-turret tanks.

  • Really nice, too bad the clip is so short. It's living history.

  • This vehicle is no longer in the USA. It was sold to some Brit and left the country some time ago. Darn!

  • Where´s my Panzerschreck?

  • where did he get this ? ... seriously!

  • awesome.i want to play with them :D

  • wow, this looks so authentic

  • tank porn

  • expensive toys.i want it

  • dear santa....

  • I love watching tank Porn.

  • STUG III

  • Where are these guys located???

  • I WANT ONE!

  • what I like about watching these vids is that we get to see what those vehicles and men really look like. I wonder how acurate the camp scheme is...

  • OK, thanks for the test drive, now lets talk financing!

  • Hitler Caput! )

  • I love it! Great!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • i bet it was very dificult to stop this tank,, very good design

  • Where is the location of this video?

  • i think this is not from ww2 video.. it is reenactment

  • @iskandar694 Good deduction...

  • imagine..50 more years or so and people will do this with bradleys and strikers.

Reenacting the war in the middle east :p.

  • @ikkeennigij121 I dont think so, who would like to reenact war fought for jews

  • @ww2footage well people are reenacting being SS soldiers, I don't think people back then would have thought they would do that now.

  • @ikkeennigij121 US won´t still be out by that time, too greedy and focused on stealing oil wells, "afghaninam"!

  • @BigAndTall666 so a new game mode arises...capture the oil

  • What other people put videos of reenactments on here does not even compare to this. This fotage is superbe. I swear to God this looks like the real damn thing!!

Most of the time its the terain the gives it away...I dont know where this place is...but you are damn lucky to have suck nice land! happy tanking!

  • V.Nice

  • Wow, it really dosen't get much more beautiful than that.

  • Piękne.

  • stug IIG waht number is that??

  • VERY cool! Wish more of these vehicles were saved instead of trashed...thanks for posting...enjoyed it.

  • NICE!

  • rebuild or original? Pretty cool!

  • Very cool.

  • Wow, fantastic stuff.... the Stug III rules

  • awesome!!

  • Are you a reenactor? What group are you in? I think there is a 9th SS by Chicago, right?

  • Was this 2nd Panzer's back in the day the unit insignia is kinda blurry on the film but the paint scheme looks familiar to the one they had

  • Yes 2.pz. That's Joey from the current GD in the commanders position.

  • @RandyBriscoe haha I knew it! We watched this old footage during on of our unit meetings (Im in 5th kp GD)

  • its a nice vid because it gives you an clearer idea of how things really looked/were, instead of watching old 60 year old grainy film...

  • erection inducing!

  • The only german thing we have in the Midwest is a Hetzer, and the fake Tiger from Saving Private Ryan... while my unit does have the only running original horch in the world... i really really do wish we had a Stug... my favorite

  • AAhhh!! sehr schön!!

  • do reenactors get paid?

  • amazing!

  • it looks like it got stuck in the mug.

  • Delicious...

  • WehrMacht, best army in human history

just reading the casualty lists from ww2 says it all.

  • @OneEyeWonderWeasil Yes they were the best, but lead by the foolish Führer, i wish he was never born!!

  • all the guys who think they know something about the Wehrmacht..pretty entertaining

  • wow this looks real. nice work done on the stug

  • gute alte zeiten!

  • nice video ... good job :)

  • You need to get close first, the back and flanks of tanks are likely to be covered by infantry and if you try to PIAT him from the front he will shoot you with the MG42 + I doubt a PIAT can penetrate the frontal armour :P

  • So true

  • @ApocDevTeam LOl piat yeah I dont think so

  • @ApocDevTeam Most tanks in World War II were armed with the General Purpose MG-34

  • @BewareTheLiveWire While that is true I think the MG-42 was actually a much more common secondary armament for the StuG III G.

  • omg canadian are pussys :D:D the shell of the piat wouldn't do anything at this glory german tank :D

  • lol canada wouldn't had a chance if the americans and the brit fags wouldn't helped the canadians.. go back in your wooden hut and german pussy inside? lol you got no idea :D

  • xD I will :D

hey dude? im not a nazi x)

  • Come to England and call us Fags its easy to talk tough hiding behind a computer.

  • Well lightly armoured on the sides that is, Frontally it had like 80mm + sloped? on the biggest part.

  • A Piat in the rear would definately take out a Sturmgeshutz. Its only a Panzer III chasis.

  • Canadians fought as bravely as American forces did. In fact Canadian forces advance the most on D-Day, we were the only ones to come close to the D-Day objectives.

  • They Advanced The Furthest Because They Had The Least Opposition

  • they faced pretty much the same as everyone else

  • Got news for you matey, the frontal armour of a Stug III is 80mm, and thats only in the later models, the Projector, Infantry, Anti Tank (PIAT) had a penetration of 100mm.

    Panzer Kaput I'm afraid :-)

mind you, thats providing theat the chap with the pIAT could hit the Panzer, they were very inaccurate.

  • Awesome!!!

  • looks like a restored version, more than a conversion it looks like it has the late war track racks in between the road wheels, and standard muffler and early mg shield i'll call it the real deal. love the Stug the germans shouldve kept it as an assualt gun rather then a tank killer, leave tank hunting to the panzer IV's and VI's, thoug i must admit a Stug is a cheaper alternative to manufacture

  • YA color ww2 film i love it p.s. i know its a reenactment .

  • it was a assault gun, but in the war it was more and more a Tank killer....a good tank killer...

  • so u play war there or what?

  • Yes we do.

  • Where exactly?

  • I think it got stuck there

  • It didn't get stuck. The driver was too lazy to downshift so he just slipped the clutch to nudge it into position.

  • @RandyBriscoe This is Sturmgeschutz IIG Moves into Action, not Tigers in the Mud

  • Where is it

  • i wish they'd start using real german armour in movies that are made these days. Some of the attempmts to make american and russian tanks look like german armour are pathetic. Makes me sik. the stug III G was a sexy little tank killer though.

  • actually the Stug wasn't a tank killer, it was an infantry support tank(:

The Hetzer however, that is a tank destroyer.

  • you are right that the Stug was a infantry support tank, but because of its low silhouette it was one of the most successful tank killers

  • true.

  • the stug was a tank killer

  • The Stug was build for the infantry support role, not as a tank killer.

  • The StuG (StuG > Sturmgeschutz = 'assault gun') performed well as a tank killer, but so did the FlaK "Eighty-Eight" (FlaK > Flugzeugabwehr-Kanone = 'anti-aircraft cannon) , which was conceived as an Anti-Aircraft gun. ;) As others have said, the StuG was designated as support - it definitely took on multiple roles when called upon - but it was still support.

  • as an aside, isnt it interesting that seemingly all the tanks that are deemed 'tank destroyers' are turretless (some dont even have a closed crew compartment), forcing them to engage some scary, scary adversaries without being able to defensively angle themselves much more than what the limited traverse of the main gun's mount allows?

  • all german tanks that is (:

American tank destroyers had turrets, they just werent always armored in the top.

  • Quite right. A rather glaring omission on my part. ;)

  • We have the Tiger?

  • cool someone - Finally who knows what there talking about....thanx

  • ausf g ??

  • A truly beautiful machine....

  • how expensive are these vehicles?

  • nice one.where is it?

  • Is this real????

    Thanx for posting it.

    Kurt Steinner

  • The vehicles are privately owned and the club membership dues help cover the cost of transportation. In some cases transportation is provided by other organizations that book us for shows. Air Shows, parades or "public battles". We need a movie contract!

  • Who funds these contributions to this reenactment? How did you get a real tank for this. Awesome!

  • This is a real German tank sonny.

  • Is this authentic or replica?
