Jacob Black is mostly human because if you think about it he just changes into a wolf when needed. He still has a heart beating, he still eat regular food and can go out in the sunlight. Edward can't do that so all those qualities that humans have, Jacob has them.

Well, in Breaking Dawn we read that both vampires and werewolves have a diffeent chromosomal count than humans.Vampires having 25 and werewolves having at least 24. Therefore, both Edward and Jacob are not human. But, I say that Jacob has a closer count than Edward for having a heart, heartbeat, and blood running through his veins. TEAM JACOB!!!!!

I think jacob is human but a diffrent one. He still has feelings for bella just like any other best friend. Jacob sure isn't human but he is closer of being human then the cullens.

Actually no. On a purley scientific level, we read in Breaking Dawn that BOTH the vampires and the werewolves are of a different chromosomal count than a regular human like Bella. Well, in Breaking Dawn we read that both vampires and werewolves have a diffeent chromosomal count than humans.Vampires having 25 and werewolves having at least 24. Therefore, both Edward and Jacob are not human. But, I say that Jacob has a closer count than Edward for having a heart, heartbeat, and blood running through his veins. TEAM JACOB!!!!!

Anyone who can change thier WHOLE genetic makeup just by getting angry, is NOT human. At all. If he thinks he's human, only different, so is Edward. Edward looks just as human as Jake, only hotter.

I don't think Jacob is human but he is more human than Edward in the way that he eats sleeps and does normal human stuff without having to pretend for the benefit of the town. But after all of that Edwards still ROCKS!!!

I agree with Jacob on certain levels. I mean, he is not human, we have all discovered that. What kind of humans can transform into giant wolves? And his chromosomal count is 24 -I think- and regular humans are 20. Vampires 25. Wich leaves him almost as non-human as vampires, but still human, in a way. His heart beats, he needs air, he still eats. But the fact is that humans just don't change shape.

Jacob is still human, he was born a werewolf, it wasnt something that he could choose or something that was chosen for him it just happened to him, The vampires were changed from human to vampires, without a choice yes, but they were still changed into a vampire. So technically both Jacob and Edward are human, just not ALL that human. :)

Jacob is human... in a way. I mean, you don't see a human phasing into a werewolf. In my opinion, Edward is as human as Jacob. If you've read the books you know that the pack can read each other's thoughts when they are in wolf form. TEAM EDWARD!

Actually no. On a purley scientific level, we read in Breaking Dawn that BOTH the vampires and the werewolves are of a different chromosomal count than a regular human like Bella. Therefore neither Edward or Jacob is human...but Jacob does have a closer count...therefore Jacob is more human than Edward...sorry to say so but sadly it's true...I'm still team Edward...nothing anyone can do to change that!!!

Jacob is a human and also a shape-shifter (aka werewolf)
Human characteristics:
His heart is beating and there are blood that flowing in his veins unlike the vampires/ cold ones.
Werewolf characteristics:
When ever he gets mad and lost his control he will just suddenly burst or explodes which cause him to lost his clothes and turn into a wolf.
They don't need a full moon to transform, they can control it and I don't know if silver bullets affecting them ( clearly, no)
So I'll say he's BOTH...

In a way i get where he's coming from like its still him inside and hes still the same person, only that hes a shapshifter. On the other hand, he is kind of a different person because any human who gets angry stays human, they dont explode into a wolf. Either way, he is still a great guy, but does get a bit possessive when it comes to bella and edwards relationship.
