Really good tutorial! And I agree with you that Shinedown performes the song better than Lynyrd Skynyrd! It's just some small things you need to approve, like when you were learning the strumming rythm, it would be alot easier if you had it written it down somewhere. But except that, GOOD JOB MAN!

an easier way is to play a C and instead of changing to a G, just move your 2nd and 3rd finger up 1 string. That way, you're only moving 2 fingers instead of all and it's easier and faster

Great stuff bro...I've got this song down stat because of this vid. One question though...right before entering the chorus the song changes slightly on the Shinedown version. It sounds great, but I haven't been able to figure it out. Are you just supposed to hammer on/off of the B string when in the C and Am positions?

It sounds great but I noticed you missed a blank (0) on the B-string. The last note before you change to a G. Just that particular note is important. Listen to the song and you will hear what I mean.

If you honestly think Skynard does better on this song, then well you are the tool. Brent Smith, has such a better voice, you all say Skynyrd's is better because it was first and its a "classic"...but its not by any means better...Shinedown made this song good to listen to.

Hey man, nice lesson. However it's a bit confusing because your numbering of the strings. It should be ..e=1, B=2, G=3, D=4, A=5 and E=6.. Doesn't change the fact it is a good lesson but as a guitar student my instructor insists I use the correct terminology. Rock On!!
